Let's Shine Universe Precure! - Prologue: Count Nova's Revenge

Count Nova was the leader of the evil Dark Hole Kingdom and used his power to birth his dark minions who spread fear and terror in the neighbouring kingdom of Universia. When all hope for the kingdom's survival seemed lost, four legendary heroes called Let's Shine Universe Precure appeared to save the people of Universia from these dark forces. Led by Cure Nova and consisting of the purple haired Cure Photon, orange haired Cure Cosmic and cyan haired Cure Neptune - these four heroes fought together to drive away the forces of the Dark Hole Kingdom back into the Void Dimension - sealing off the threat to Univerisa. 

The people of Universia cheered for their heroes and the four Precure heroes turned around before relinquishing their powers and placing their Smart Universe Cure Phones inside of a royal artefact called the Universe Aether to be used again if Count Nova and the Dark Hole Kingdom's forces ever returned. They remained legendary and the group disbanded after their battle - with the members going their separate ways. Thousands of years later, history was about to repeat itself as Count Nova awakened from his slumber and set his sights on conquering the universe. 

"You must go and find a new team to counter this threat."

The youngest member of Universia's royal family - Princess Unova was sent to Earth with the Universe Aether in order to find a new quartet of heroes to help her fight this returning threat but she did not know where to start. The age of a brand new Precure was about to begin and Unova would learn lessons that would change her forever.
