The little cabin everyone in the merge has been staying in got a leak in the roof throughout a couple spots. Now Sam and Spencer were sent by lake to go gather leaves, sticks, and bamboo...

Smiling, Lake finds it amusing to send Spencer and Sam off to bicker while picking up things needed to fix the roof as much as possible. Not like they were in a rush since they had the whole day to do.. Well nothing since it's been bad weather.

They both start walking off into the distance, the trees and brush creating a path into the bamboo forest. No one can really see Spencer and Sam now.

Irritated, Spencer stops for a moment to look around. "Sam." he mutters... "Spencer. What?" Sam stops to turn around and see Spencer deep in thought. "Did you vote for me or Rosa at elimination last night.." he frowns and looks disgruntled.

"No, I didn't. I voted tom" He brings his hand to his face and smiles menacingly. "Though you did have quite a few votes... I could have but that wouldn't be as fun Spency boy." Sam stares at Spencer and smirks.

"yeah well I suppose you should've just bloody voted with them.. I wouldn't be here right now stuck picking up things with you now would I?!" Spencer catches his breath to calm down after getting worked up. Trying to not look a fool in front of Sam who uses every chance he gets to further his game.

Sam's smile on his face dims as he realizes how hurt Spencer actually was. He knows this game is important but there wasn't a beneficial reason right now to upset him. "Okay... well I didn't vote for you.. Shouldn't you be happy about that?" Sam holds the back of his neck as words leave his mouth.

The younger male looks over at him.. With a stern and quiet expression.

Spencer didn't like the idea of being completely honest with Sam, after all he was in the middle of a competition. Even if it was put on pause for a day.

"Look.... Sam. I mean im glad im not gone. Its a competition but you are unpredictable." Spencer groaned

Sam looked at him with a smug expression "Still... it should be a pleasant evening to still be here"

Spencer laughed at him "pleasant? Im out here picking up god knows what with you.. thats totally pleasant."

The older male smirked and let out a deep breath. "Do you not enjoy my company? I thought we were just starting to get along." His eyes dart over to Spencer for a moment before returning to the branch being picked up by him.

"We aren't." Spencer snaps

Spencer had a short fuse with him now and was starting to want to just walk back and leave Sam here to fend for himself. However, something inside of Spencer enjoyed being pestered by him. The way his mouth moves when words flow out and his... mischievous smile the moment he turns his direction. Did something to him. It made him dizzy to think about it so hard.

"Uhhh Spencer." Sam states his name loudly.

"Hm?" Spencer hums in a daze by his own thoughts. Sitting on the ground by his pile of bamboo and leaves. They needed to head back soon.

"Why aren't you doing anything... you have been sitting there awhile." Sam says scratching his head like it was hard for him to ask if he was okay.

"Im... fine" Spencer stood up so fast he got dizzy. Falling to the side and sam catches him

"Woah there.. I guess maybe you need to eat something too."

Spencer doesnt say anything or really move much. He doesnt move to get out of his arms. Instead he looks at Sam's muscles and defined structure of his arms.

"Spency if I didn't know any better id say you arent in a hurry to get out of my arms" Sam says smirking at him from above.

"Bloody hell..."

Spencer realized he was infact not fine..

He was doing the same thing he does everytime and wished never happened. He didn't come here for... this. He came here to win, to bring home the money.

Though Spencer did tell himself awhile back that he wouldn't push his feelings down and avoid them like... last time.

"Let's just get back. We have what we need" Spencer stomps off in a hurry to get ahead of sam with his sticks and bamboo in hand.

Sam wasnt sure what to think, he noticed Spencer was a little off... well maybe more than a little. He wasnt sure if he should ask him about it but he stayed a little futher behind just to make sure he gave Spencer the needed space. He wasnt a complete monster. Just the game... right?
