hi everyone! welcome to my little eugsley fic 🥹
first things first, this is my FIRST time writing a fic, let alone a fic like this (i usually write poetry) so please bear with me! this is (aiming for it) going to be a slow burn. like painfully slow. so if you're here for eugene and pugsley to fall in love immediately, i'm sorry but you're going to have to sit through the yearning with me 💔
i'm gonna try my best to keep everyone as in-character as possible, while adding my own little spin on things. there might be some angst, fluff, awkwardness, poor grammar (on my part), stupid decisions, and probably WAY too many moments where these two could communicate but absolutely refuse to.
side note, i just wanna say that this fic might not be your cup of tea, and that is perfectly fine! this is my own interpretation of the characters and their relationship, and i know everyone has the different opinions/headcannons. one of my favorite fics EVER actually got deleted because of a ton of hate (luckily the author brought it back up,) and honestly, it made me really sad seeing someone take down something they loved creating because people were being mean about it. so i just wanna say now: you don't have to like this fic. you don't have to agree with how i write the characters. you can absolutely just click away if it isn't for you.
with that being said, please be respectful!! criticism is totally fine, but there's a difference between constructive criticism and just being hateful.
anyway!! i hope you guys enjoy reading as much as i enjoy writing it. thank you for giving my little fic a chance. 🤍
