i walked into my apartment, fresh outta practice. my shirt cling to my body because of sweat. geno don't play AND it's hot outside.
"this ain't it chief. let's wrap summer tf up i'm ready for fall" i mumbled to myself.
walking into my room, i went to the dresser and grabbed some clean clothes. my phone vibrated on my bed making me walk over to it and pick it up.

"i knew she'd miss me" i said with a smirk before clicking accept putting her on speaker phone.

"hey boo" she greeted.
"hey mama. what you got going on ?" i asked.
"nothing, had a killer practice now i'm on the couch chillin" she said.
"same! just got out, i'm bout to hop in the shower right now" i said.

i looked into my camera, i saw her cuddled up with her blanket on the couch.

i stared at her and then nodded, grabbing my clothes from my bed. she took a deep breath and rubbed her temple.
