The final bell rang, this sent collage students rushing into the crowded hallways. Lockers slammed after another, conversations echoed through the walls while laughter filled the air
Lucy carter hugged her notebook tightly against her chest and kept her eyes on the floor avoiding any problems.
"gosh I hate this place.." Lucy mumbles while walking just to get to the front gate
Don't make eye contact.
Don't give them a reason to bully you.
"Well, well..if it isn't Lucy Carter!!"
Lucy's stomach dropped
Sienna.
"where do you think you are going hm?"
Gulp.
Sienna's words made Lucy tremble.
"Awh look at her tremble she's gonna burst a bubble!!"
Laughter echoed as Lucy was publically humiliated.
Sienna and her two friends, Brooke and Madison blocked the hallway like guards.
Around them students slowing down already expecting another scene.
Sienna tilted her head. "Still carrying that little notebook everywhere?"
"What else am I supposed to write on" Lucy mumbles avoiding eye contact.
Sienna tightened her grip
"What was that four eyes?"
"O-Oh nothing..." Lucy whispers in despair.
"Oh, I know" Sienna smirked. "Probally another fantasy where you actually have friends!!"
Laughter echoed as the bullies chuckled like a group of hyenas.
Brooke laughed so hard she has to grab Madison's shoulder.
Madison pulled out her phone."Hold on this is too good not to recor-"
Madison glanced back as her phone dropped to the floor.
"Leave her alone."
Lucy's eyes tear up.
"MIAAA!! JAMESS!!"
Lucy starts running to them.
"There, there your fine"
James says rubbing her back softly.
Maddison, and Sienna both give the maddest face ever.
"You lot are so pathetic huh?"
Mia's voice echoed through the hall picking up her skateboard.
Woah.
"She's so dammn cool." Brooke mumbles.
Sienna and Madison chuckle
"Shut up you lesbian"
Sigh.
The hallway fell silent for a moment before quiet snickers spread through the crowd.
The three girls walked away laughing.
"What a bunch of bitches."
James says.
"Thanks you guys" Lucy whispered.
Mia shrugged.
"come on let's get out of here"
As they walked towards the school gates, Lucy couldn't shake the strange feeling that someone, somewhere...had been watching everything unfold.
"Guys guys wanna go to the new bookstore down the road?"
Lucy asks
"Hell yeah"
Mia says while riding her skateboard effortlessly.
"James what about you?"
"I have football practice in like what....5 MINUTES!!"
Lucy and Mia both chuckle
"HAHAH OKAY GET HOME SAFE!!"
