[April, 1963]

John's POV:
I looked out the tiny window of the plane as we cruised high above the clouds. Brian was sitting right beside me, looking over some travel papers. It felt surreal that I was actually on my way to Spain. After weeks of Brian suggesting that we take this holiday, I eventually accepted the offer. Besides, I needed a break from the nonstop stress and crowds.

After what felt like hours, we finally landed. We both grabbed our luggage and took a taxi straight to the hotel. Once we arrived, the two of us made our way up to the room. I dropped my bag onto the floor and collapsed onto the bed, letting out a tired sigh.

"Not bad Eppy," I joked, looking around the room.

3rd POV:
Brian laughed softly as he started unpacking his things. The hotel was simple but comfortable, with a small balcony that overlooked the streets below.

Later that evening, Brian and John decided to go out and explore the city. They observed many different places, trying new foods, and enjoyed the peaceful evening together. John thought it was nice being in Spain where everything felt calmer. He didn't have to worry about schedules or rushing from one place to another.

They took their time walking through the streets, stopping to look around before eventually heading back to the hotel. When the boys returned, John immediately lied down onto the bed, feeling exhausted but this was exactly the kind of break he needed.

As the days went by, the two of them continued exploring the countryside. They visited many historical sites, art galleries, and local markets. They spent hours wandering through streets, stopping at cafés and restaurants for a bite to eat. During the evenings, they would make their way back to the hotel, tired from all the walking. The boys would sit out on the balcony watching the sunset over the city, drinking wine and discussing music, life, and what the future might hold.

[The Next Day]

Brian and John decided to spend the next day at one of Barcelona's beaches. They relaxed by the water, walked along the shoreline, and enjoyed the sunshine. While they were there, John met a small group of guys around his age who were spending the day at the beach as well. Before long, they all were chatting as if they had known each other for years.

Later that evening, the group decided to continue their hang out by going to a drive-in movie theater. Everyone got into their cars before driving to the outdoor cinema just as the sun was setting. Once the boys arrived, they parked near the front of the parking lot, bought popcorn, and cold drinks from the snack stand, then settled in to watch a movie under the night sky. After the film ended, John recommended they all drive to a nearby bar, where they spent more of the night chatting and listening to music. John became intrigued by the new friends he had met that day and was enjoying every minute of their company. Feeling generous, he insisted on buying everyone a round of drinks.

Brian watched from across the table, clearly not as enthusiastic. While he was glad John was having a good time, he couldn't help but worry that John would drink too much before they were on their way back to the hotel. Every now and then Brian would remind John to slow down on the drinking, however John ignored him and simply laughed it off.

Brian's POV:
I sat back in the booth, watching John laugh with the mates we had met earlier today. He seemed happier than I had seen him in a long time, and I couldn't help but smile. It was nice seeing him having a good time without the worry of interviews, recording sessions, or crowds of fans chasing him.

As the night went on, John kept insisting on buying more rounds of drinks. I leaned over and whispered to him, "John, slow down. I don't want you to be drunk when we return to the hotel."
