Joong's POV

5:30 AM.

The shrill sound of an alarm echoed through the quiet mansion.

Without hitting the snooze button even once, Joong Archen Aydin opened his eyes.

Another day.

Another schedule.

Another endless list of meetings.

He sat up, neatly folded his blanket out of habit, and walked toward the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Bangkok's skyline. The city was still waking up, wrapped in the soft colors of dawn.

Exactly how he liked it.

Quiet.

Peaceful.

Predictable.

Twenty minutes later, he was already outside, jogging through the private trail surrounding the Aydin estate.

Running wasn't just exercise.

It helped him think.

It prepared him for another day of leading Archen Group.

By the time he returned, the house was already alive.

The smell of freshly brewed coffee drifted from the dining room.

"Morning," his mother, Anong, greeted warmly.

"Morning, Mom."

Thanawat Aydin looked up from his newspaper.

"You're two minutes earlier than usual."

Joong glanced at his watch.

"I finished my last lap faster."

His father nodded proudly.

"As expected."

Breakfast at the Aydin mansion was always peaceful.

No loud conversations.

No unnecessary chatter.

Just the occasional discussion about business.

After breakfast, Joong adjusted the cuffs of his perfectly tailored black suit before walking toward the front entrance.

"Have a good day."

His mother smiled.

"I will."

The black luxury sedan was already waiting outside.

As soon as he arrived at Archen Group headquarters, employees immediately stood straighter.

"Good morning, Mr. Aydin."

He acknowledged them with a small nod before entering the elevator.

The top floor.

His office.

His kingdom.

The moment the elevator doors opened, a familiar voice greeted him.

"You're early."

Joong looked up.

"Pond."

Pond Naravit leaned casually against the wall, coffee in one hand and his phone in the other.

"You know," Pond sighed dramatically, "one day you'll wake up late and give the rest of us hope."

"I wouldn't count on it."

Pond clicked his tongue.

"You've been like this since university."

Joong simply smirked.
