"Is Your Bedroom Ceiling Bored?"

Giyuu POV

I stare at the ceiling that I have burned into my memory by now. Laying on my back I felt the sheets below me and the blanket on top of me. I was warm and when I turned my head to the side I saw out the window that it was raining. At this rate our mansions will flood. The wet droplets were turning the outside world into a sliver sheet.

I sat at the edge of the bed looking out the window. I pressed my palms to my bed and lifted myself up. Doing this bent my wrists which made me wince. It still hurts. I transfer my weight to my feet and start moving mechanically to the bathroom. I grab a tiny medkit and open the zipper. The sound rang out in the quiet bathroom. I covered both my wrists with two knee bandages. Looking in the mirror I saw my messy black hair falling over my face and eyes.

I quickly fix my hair and finish my routine for the morning. I walk through the main door out onto the mushed up ground. I take a breath of air and the smell of spring rain floods my nose. The rushing sound of rain filled my ears and deafened any other sound. All the Hashira's, and me, have a meeting today. I swiftly make my way to the meeting area. I was the first to arrive, taking my place a bit off to the side. The sky was covered in a layer of thick, misty, gray clouds. The rain has ceased for now. The spell of rain was still lingering in the air.

Kocho arrived shortly after me. She would normally not be this early, but who am I to think that deep into her personal life? I looked down and glued my eyes to the mudded ground I was standing on hoping she would not approach me. Of course that did not work. She came over.

"Ara, ara~ Tomioka-san, your eye bags are looking deeper today. Did you get proper sleep last night?" She asked with a smile plastered on her face. You will always see that calm, yet unsettling smile on her face. The answer was no.

"Yes, Kocho." I muttered now looking at her. I gave her the same look I gave everyone. Calm, unwavering, blankness. She started poking and pestering me as the other Hashira began to arrive. Kanroji and Iguro came talking together. Rengoku and Tengen arrived promptly after laughing loudly together.

Kocho was talking my ear off with questions, but to be perfectly honest, she had done it so many times now I was used to it. I looked down at her as she looked up. Did- did she ask me a question?

"Oh my, Tomioka! You are very spacey today!" I acknowledged her with nothing more than a look before I lifted my gaze back to where the other Hashira stood. Shinazugawa, Himejima and Tokito had arrived. Everyone went silent and Kocho stopped her poking and prodding when the Master arrived with two of his children. Me and the rest of the Hashira knelt in respect and the meeting began.

After The Meeting

The meeting ended and everyone was talking amongst themselves as I quickly left right after. I heard Kocho say something to me I could not quite make out from my position. All of these new Demon sightings are kind of scary. Knowing people are getting their families ripped apart by them makes me sick. I have a feeling a Hashira or two will be sent to the town mentioned in the meeting.

I walked to the training ground and began to train alone there. The training ground spelled of dirt and the persistent smell of the rain. The clouds were still looming in the sky like a warning. I unsheathed my sword the cold handling weighing in my hand.

A/N- Hello peoples! This is my first time writing a fanfic on Wattpad. I really hope I don't loose this story and account because my Wattpad is being a bit weird. But regardless I hope you enjoy the story!! >.< School is starting back up for me in a few weeks so this might take a while to get updated but I will try to update 1-2 every month. This first one is kinda short I think because I'm doing a different POV for the second part and I did not know how to extend this one without going into that one lol. So apologies!
