Is it worth all the pain?

The day it all began...

Class was beginning, students began entering the class everyone then took a seat. The teacher entered the class telling us a new student will be joining us... I wasn't interested all I care about is getting good grades making my family happy, getting a good job meaning I have to take my education serious, after all I don't want to fail them after everything they have done for me.

*students talking* Hey Korma, long time no see. MINATA I shouted. I've missed you where have you been seriously? Oh sorry I was just not feeling well and decided to take a week off and rest! Why.. WHY DIDN'T YOU MESSAGE ME I WOULD HAVE CAME IMMEDIATELY! I was worried sick and I'm afraid I don't know your address to visit you. || I looked down as my hair started covering my face all frustrated|| Hey, look I'm sorry please don't look down I'll tell you where I live incase I get ill again! Minata giggles.

I can't help but look up and give her a smile.

Me and minata go way back in fact I even consider her family now.

Minata sadly lost her father at a young age, so her mother and my mother was very close. She would visit us a lot. At first I was afraid of her for example we was outside in a playground messing about playing with random kids. Minata was very shy sitting alone and was afraid to ask us if she could join, I remember building up courage to ask her after all I'm afraid too..

|| Hey you... ( I said) why are you sitting alone? Come join us here hold my hand ( I reached out my hand as a signal for her to grab it so I could drag her towards the other kids) Minata hesitated || I.. ( she pulled her hand out to grab mine but slowly pushed it back) || Don't be afraid I'm not gonna eat you come on!! || don't be silly (minata said) for all I know you might pick on me when we go towards the others *humpf* she made a silly face I can't forget till this day.
