The first day at Chulalongkorn University was unlike anything Miu Taechamongkalapiwat had ever experienced.

The usually peaceful campus was alive with excitement. White university uniforms filled every corner, seniors welcomed freshmen with cheerful smiles, and the sound of laughter echoed beneath the towering rain trees that lined the walkways.

Miu adjusted the strap of her cream-colored tote bag before taking a deep breath.

"So this is it..."

Her dream university.

A place where no one cared that she came from one of Thailand's wealthiest families.

Here, she wanted to be just another student.

No bodyguards.

No chauffeur waiting outside.

No special treatment.

Just... Miu.

"Miss Miu!"

She turned around to see their family driver jogging toward her.

"You forgot your lunch."

Miu laughed softly before taking the neatly packed lunchbox.

"Thank you, Uncle Somchai."

"And your father said—"

"I know," she interrupted with a smile. "Study hard. Make friends. Don't tell people who my parents are."

The driver chuckled.

"Exactly."

After waving goodbye, Miu walked through the university gates alone.

For the first time in years...

She felt free.

---

Orientation had just begun when the loud sound of drums suddenly echoed across the campus.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Every freshman immediately turned toward the university field.

"THE MARCHING BAND!"

"They're here!"

"I heard the Drum Major is really famous!"

Miu frowned in curiosity.

Drum Major?

Students rushed toward the field, leaving Miu with no choice but to follow the crowd.

The marching band stood in perfect formation.

Their uniforms were immaculate.

Every instrument gleamed under the morning sun.

Then...

Silence.

A figure stepped forward.

She held a silver mace confidently, her posture straight and elegant.

The sunlight caught the gold details of her uniform as she lifted the mace high into the air.

The entire field erupted into cheers.

"LENA!!"

"GO, DRUM MAJOR!"

"SO PRETTY!"

Miu's heart skipped a beat.

The senior standing at the front moved with effortless confidence.

Every spin of the mace looked graceful.
