CHRISTMAS 2025: Vancouver

Hudson and Connor woke up Christmas morning, in each other's arms.

"Merry Christmas, baby." Hudson says, sleepily.

Connor turned his face towards him, placing a kiss on his cheek. "Merry Christmas, darling."

"What do you have planned today for us?" Hudson asked, crawling out of bed in his boxers.

"Do you want to know or make it a surprise?" Connor says.

"Tell me! Tell me! Please." Hudson walking into the bathroom, getting ready for their plans.

"Well, if you must know. I want to take you on a shopping spree at your favorite stores. Then go have dinner around 6PM. Then to finish the night, go driving around to see the lights." Connor says walking into the bathroom, walking behind Hudson, wrapping his arms around his waist, and kissing his neck, making Hudson tilt his head some. Hudson quietly moans, letting his whole body melt back into Connor's.

"Ah, babe. Stop. I need to get dressed to go shopping. I want to get the good stuff before it's all gone. The faster we get dressed, the faster we can go." Hudson says, trying to push Connor off of him.  "Why must you be so bossy in the mornings?" Connor replied, backing up and walks out of the room. "Pfft, you love my bossiness." Hudson said, finishing his morning skincare routine.

"Now, shut up and get dressed." He told Connor, who was already at the closet picking out an outfit. "Babe, can you see where I am?" Connor asked jokingly. "Alright good." Hudson says, putting on his clothes. "We leave in 10. I'm going to get something to eat in the kitchen." He says, heading out of the room.

10 MINUTES LATER

Hudson grabs the car keys out of the bowl they had on the kitchen bar. "Let's go!" They both walk outside to the car. Hudson walks to the drivers side about to open the door and Connor snatched the keys out of his hand. "Nope you're not driving. I am, baby." Connor says, giggling. "Now go put your pretty ass in the passenger seat and be a good boy." Hudson decided for a quick second to listen to him. As he was walking away, Connor slapped his ass, biting his lip, then got in the car.

20 MINUTES LATER

Connor and Hudson arrived at the mall. "Hurry. Hurry. Park somewhere slow poke." Hudson says, giggling.

"Alright. Give me a moment." Connor says, seeing a spot up a little further and pulling into the spot.

Hudson had already taken off his seatbelt before the car had come to a full stop. He practically jumped out of the car. "Watch it, Hud. Be careful." Connor says getting out of the car.

"Where to first?" Connor says.

"Zegna's. They have amazing men's clothing." Hudson says happily.

"Lead the way since you know this place like the back of your hand." Connor says. It was Vancouver's best mall in downtown.

Hudson was walking fast but not too quick, Connor was able to stay up to him. It took them about 5 minutes to get to the place.  He started looking around, starting with the jeans. Connor let him have some space but he kept Hudson in his eyesight. After 30 minutes of browsing, Hudson finds two things to buy. "Connor, I'm ready to pay.  Connor comes to the register where Hudson was and pays for his two things.

They both head to another store and this time it was Hollister.

Once again, Hudson browsed around while Connor was in the vincinity of him.  It took him a little longer to find something that he liked. Hudson circled maybe three times before he found something that caught his eye.

"Connor, come look. What do you think of this?"

"I can totally see that on you. You should get it." Connor says as he looks at the piece of clothing Hudson had lifted in the air.  "Let's go to the register to pay and let's go to dinner now."

2 HOURS LATER: 6PM

Chambar Restaurant

Hudson chose this restaurant since he's been wanting to try their food and alcohol for a long time.

The waiter at the front sat them down at a table off to the side. She gave them both menus and went off to check on some of her other tables while Hudson and Connor checked out the menu.

10 MINUTES LATER

The waitress came and asked what they wanted.

"I would like to try the Coquotte." Hudson says. "What would you like, Con?"

"The La Pièce du Boucher. Please and thank you." Connor gave the girl his order, handing her his menu.

Once the food came, they talked about how the instant success of the show and their new found fame.

"So how crazy that we were waiters a couple of months ago and now almost everyone knows our faces and names?" Hudson asks as he took a bite.

"It's crazy as hell is. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. But just remember, sweetie, to take it one day at a time." Connor saying, taking a drink of wine that he had ordered.

"Good idea. Just breathe and don't over think it also." Hudson says.

When dinner was over, the bill came. "I'm paying this time." Hudson says, grabbing the paper before Connor could. He smirked at him while getting his card out.

It was getting dark now and they left the restaurant. Connor drove to find some neighborhoods that had lots of Christmas lights. He got out of downtown to the rural areas and found some good areas. It was on their way back home anyway. He pulled into one subdivision and slowly drove.

"Ooh baby, look at those. It's Frosty the Snowman and the reindeer." Hudson pointed, making Connor look over to the right side of the street.

"That's so cool. What else do you see?"

"Um, there's some lights that have an interesting pattern."

"Oh yes I see."

They kept driving around and Connor grabbed Hudson's left hand, resting it in his lap, giving it a small squeeze. "Guess what?" Connor says.

"What, sweetheart?" Hudson asked, turning his head to face Connor.

"I'm glad I found you on that zoom call. You truly are my soul mate. I just feel like myself when I'm around you. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else playing Shane. The first second I laid eyes on you, I knew you had to be mine." Connor says, trying to watch the street and look at Hudson at the same time.

"Would you say it was "Love At First Sight" then?" Hudson squeezes Connor's hand.

"Definitely, baby. I've had past boyfriends on where I didn't feel like I was worthy of them. Just something about you that made me fall in love."

"Was it my good looks? Or was it my kissing? Or was it my friendliness?" Hudson asked.

"No, it was your heart."

"What? You've got to be kidding me!" Hudson, quickly letting go of his hand.

"Sike. It is all those things. And your beautiful heart. You really care about the people around you." Connor says, driving out of the neighborhood, heading to the house.

"That's right. The most important person I care about is you. I don't know what I would do if you left me or worse." Hudson says, grabbing Connor's hand again and holding it tight as they drove back home.

"Let's make sure that never happens. Shall we?" Connor says, lifting up both of their hands and kissing the top of Hudson's hand.

"How could I not hate you? I love your sense of humor, baby. I can't wait to get home and snuggle in bed and give you lots of kisses." Hudson says.

Connor got to the house in no time after that since a lot of the people were already home at that time of night.
