Weeping

All I could feel is a deep rooted coldness. As if someone had injected ice into my very veins. Eyelids fluttering open seeing a blinding white snow surrounding the forest. With a gasp I sit up and whips my head side to side confused.

Where am I? How'd I get here? I was just home last night after all. Still wearing a long sleeved purple pajama shirt and grey sweatpants. My breath picked up scared, cold, and alone.

Shivering I stand up needing to find people. There was no socks on my feet but I needed to go somewhere. Find someone with a phone to go home and pray nothing bad happens to me.

The walk seemed endless snow and forest. The sky was light grey seemingly day. My feet had turned red by now and prickles at the bottom of my feet like needles. Entire body shaking now and brought my hands up to cover my face with sleeves. Gods it was freezing.

About an hour later I saw a town ahead and sped up my steps. This place looked old fashioned but I didn't care, it was civilization after all. Stumbling forward I call out to the people outside.

"P-please help!" I called out loudly and shakily while walking towards the people in odd clothing. Not like I could really see straight right now anyways.

The people looked at the odd looking me with furrowed brows and confused expressions. I probably looked weird to them because I was wearing thin clothes and no shoes.

Said people turned their heads away making me gasp. "Please anyone! I j-just need a phone!" I tried again now tearing up.

Which only made the people look at me even more funny for some reason. Now I was getting desperate. Stumbling towards a older women and shakily grabbed her arm. Before I could even get a word out though, I was shoved roughly off her to the ground. Hands scraping against the ground.

"Kanojo ni fureru na." Was snarled at her from a man that wrapped his arm around said women. The random women held her arm to her chest like she had been struck.

I couldn't believe it. These people were speaking what seemed to be maybe japanese and they weren't even trying to help me. Everytime I called out, the people ignored me.

The entire day I shakily wandered around the town trying to find someone desperately that can speak english or someone willing to help me. Every single person snubbed me.

By now it was nighttime and I hadn't ate a single thing all day, the biting cold was getting worse and my eyes were red and puffy from crying all day. No matter how much I begged and pleaded, the people ignored me.

Now all I could do is find the warmest place in a alleyway and curl into a ball shaking and praying to any gods willing to listen that I wake up from this nightmare. It took what it felt forever until I could fall asleep.

Barely a couple hours later I was woken up to rough growls making my head shoot up. In front of me was a thin dog with baring teeth seemingly ready to fight.

"I-I don't have a-a-any food." Whispered shakily as if the canine could understand me. Unfortunately, the world wasn't so kind. And I realized that the dog would eat me if I stayed in it's territory.

Stumbled up and shakily walked away hugging myself. Not able to find another spot the rest of the night.

By dawn I was starving and hungry. Smelling the foods from the homes made my stomach growl. With a shaky hand I knocked on the odd looking door. A new man opened it.

"Nandeshou?" He asked calmly but a bit impatiently. Opening my mouth before snapping it closed and making the motion of eating and then together as if begging. Needing something, anything.
