"Phi—P'Lena!"
Lena paused mid-sip of her matcha when Jayna burst into the café.
The freshman looked utterly wrecked—face flushed crimson, hair in disarray, and lungs working overtime as though she had sprinted across the entirety of Chulalongkorn University's campus to avert a national catastrophe.
Which, judging by her expression, might not have been an exaggeration.
Still composed, Lena set her cup down.
"What's wrong?"
"P'Miu—"
The moment Miu's name left Jayna's mouth, Lena straightened.
"What happened to Miu?" Alarm had already crept into her voice. "Is she hurt?"
Jayna shook her head and doubled over, attempting to reclaim what remained of her dignity—and oxygen. The distance from the soccer field to the campus café usually took ten minutes.
Jayna had covered it in three.
Lena's patience began to fray.
Instead of answering, Jayna seized the glass of water on the table and drained it in one uninterrupted gulp.
Lena pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Jayna."
Jayna slammed the empty glass onto the table and drew a deep breath.
"She isn't hurt," she said at last.
Relief swept through Lena.
"But she is hurting someone."
Lena shot to her feet.
"WHAT?!"
"We couldn't stop her," Jayna said. "She's gone feral."
"Where is that kid?"
Lena's expression resembled that of a mother who had just learned her daughter was doing the exact thing she had been warned—repeatedly, and at considerable volume—not to do.

FanfictionThe rest of Chulalongkorn University had the unique privilege of witnessing what happens when someone hurts Miu's Lalee. Gone feral- was, as it turns out, a very generous understatement.
