Linked: A Connection Between two Realities (Added Chapters) 6/29

Start from the beginning

Chapter IX: Several Years later, I had grown my intelligence to the point where my mind could create anything instantly when thought of. During the past few years, I added people, animals, and established places of work, and more. I had expanded the world, and had a mirror, which allows me to view the real world. I could see the time the past while I was in here, I witnessed my funeral, the world restored to normal, my family move on, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t find Elise. I wondered where she could have gone…

Chapter X: I had a dream about my father that night. I was riding my bike from school in the real world. I was following my old friend Joseph home from school. He pulled into a gas station/ garage. We both walked inside and went to the cashier to get some snacks and Monsters. Then as we began to walk outside, I saw a man working with his head down. It was my father, whom I haven’t seen for at least thirteen or more years. I was in shock, but he didn’t know who I was. So I asked for his name. Then, a few seconds later… I woke up. Astonished, I tried not to think about it the rest of the day. Priorities had to be in place. Until the moment I realized, that I had seen this man walking around the tower. I began to search for this man, perhaps he was a memory from long before I can recall any memory of my father, but searching was worth a shot. Besides, it’s not like I have anything to lose in here. Right? It suddenly occurred to me that it may be a smart idea to track my days and locations. So here we go…

Day 1: Entry 1, Outer District.

I had this feeling in my gut that something was here from my past. Perhaps a connection to the real world, which now, would be a great thing to see. So, I began to look around. During the years that had passed, I had managed a way to make and bring in architecture building and designing books to help expand this, endless world. So, instead of the old buildings that used to be here, were taller, sturdier structures in their place. I walked continued walking around for a few hours, and got nowhere. I approached the entrance to the Inner District.

Day 1: Entry 2, Inner District.

Within seconds of entering the entrance, a loud explosion was heard, leaving an extreme, sharp pain in my ears. I ran towards the building in flames, wondering what the hell had happened. I sprinted towards the building, which was to the left of where I was. When I turned the corner, only to see, you guessed it, another shadowy figure. I instantly assumed it was me again, and chased him towards the old sewage system from before. He began running towards a brightly lit area, a place which I have never seen before. He began running towards the light. When I finally caught up, he stepped into the light and was gone. I followed him, and at the moment, I’m glad I did.

Day 1: Entry 3, Unknown Area.

When I stepped in the entire area was bombed, and the shadowy figure was gone. I reached into my pocket and set a marking point, to know how to get back as I discover where I am. I began seeing familiar places, a park, a building, a soccer field, and lights. It occurred to me, that I found a way out, because I realized that I was home. In reality only a day had passed, and it was time for school, which I was late for since the bus was turning my street corner again. I was in shock. I didn’t think this was possible. But then again, look at what I’ve done. I got to school, and saw Elise again. I almost started crying. It was like going to war and back, the reunion that you have. I gave her the biggest hug ever. Yet, she just looked at me funny. So, I began to explain. Oddly enough, she believed me. Then she tells me how she dropped off a package at my house last night. Then, I instantly knew there was in fact, a link somewhere.

Night 1: Entry 1, Real World.

I was curious as to what would happen when I fell back asleep, if I would return to Oblivion, and if so, what awaited me. Being gone from my world would give the other me a chance to take back my dreams. Guess I was wrong again, things COULD get worse… Lovely

Chapter XI: It was nice to step into the real side of things again. I started to calculate that several years in Oblivion were equal to about 7 hours in real time, which meant the possibilities were endless. The only question that remained was “what had happened while I was gone?” So far I hadn’t had a skip at all, so things seemed fine. It was hard for me to fall asleep, since all of these thoughts were constantly roaming around in my head. So, I turned on my good old iPod, at went back to my so called “home.”

Day 2: Entry 1, Oblivion.

Now for those of you still reading, I thank you. Not because you’re interested, but because you have the ability to see what goes on in my extremely insane abyss known as my mind. Now, as I walk back through Oblivion, I notice something, something really weird and scary. It stopped raining for once. Surprisingly, the rest of the world seemed perfectly fine. I still wasn’t convinced that it was, so I did my daily routine walk through my world. I went through each district carefully, making sure there wasn’t anything suspicious. Normally I know something is wrong when the side of a building is missing, the sky is falling, minor things like that. Yet, everything checked out. So, I proceeded to the castle. Now the only thing I could think of was my amazingly comfy chair overlooking my creation, my masterpiece, my world. Yet, as always, there is always something in my way of achieving happiness, relaxation, and possibly peace, because once I reached the top floor, and walked to my chair, my father was awaiting my return, and was sitting in it.

Chapter XII: I started to believe that this was a nightmare, but for once someone from the outside was in fact IN my dream. Now, in the real world I’d have nothing to say to my father. I don’t plan on the simple awkward conversation saying “Hi, how have you been?” Not my idea of a reunion, but this was different, he was in my world. I started to ask him questions, and not the “where have you been?” kind of questions, more of the “how the hell did you get in here and what do you want?” ones. This should be interesting.

“I’m here to warn you about the future, your future. If you continue to live and reside in here, the real world will become this world, and those people will be stuck in here forever. If you wake up afterwards, no one will survive.” Great, I’m a living breathing apocalypse. This should be interesting. I just hope I’m not too late… again. For once I wish something would go right this time.
