The sky over Hawkins was dark. The group thought it was over... until the lights started flickering again.
Hopper looked around.
"Tell me that's not what I think it is."
Steve grabbed his bat.
"Yeah... definitely not a normal Tuesday."
The sky over Hawkins was strangely quiet. No birds. No cars. Just a cold wind moving through the trees.
The group stood outside, staring at the dark clouds above them.
Hopper: "Everyone stay close. We don't know what we're dealing with."
The lights in the houses around town flickered.
Steve: "Uh... guys? Pretty sure that's usually a bad sign."
Robin: "You think? Because the creepy sky, weird lights, and the whole 'evil monster might be back' thing really gave it away."
Eleven closes her eyes, trying to sense what's happening.
Eleven: "He's different... stronger."
Suddenly, a deep voice echoes through the air.
Vecna: "You thought you could forget me?"
Everyone freezes.
Dustin: "Nope. Absolutely not. I was hoping for a normal week."
Hopper raises his weapon.
Hopper: "Not today."
The ground begins to shake...
Steve: "Okay, new plan. Nobody panics."
Robin: "You just told everyone not to panic while everything is literally shaking."
The group looks toward the darkness.
Chapter two: Vecna ruturns
The wind gets stronger as Vecna steps closer.
Vecna: "You don't understand what you're facing."
Chloe looks around at the team.
Chloe: "Maybe. But we understand one thing... we're not fighting alone."
Hopper nods.
Hopper: "That's the difference."
Steve grips his bat.
Steve: "Alright, everyone remember the plan."
Robin: "You mean the plan we made five seconds ago?"
Steve: "A plan is a plan."
Dustin points toward the mark on the ground.
Dustin: "Wait... the symbol isn't a warning."
Everyone looks at him.
Dustin: "It's a map."
Eleven: "A map to where he's going."
Chloe steps closer.
Chloe: "Then we find where he's headed... before he gets there."
Suddenly, Vecna disappears into the fog.
Hopper: "That's never good."
The radio crackles again.
A voice whispers: "Run..."
Everyone freezes.
Steve: "Okay... who said that?"
The trees go silent.
Chloe: "Guys... we're not alone."
The group slowly turns around. The woods are quiet... way too quiet.
Robin: "I officially hate this. Quiet forests are never a good thing."
Steve: "Agreed."
Dustin checks the map again.
Dustin: "The symbol is pointing toward an old location outside town."
Hopper: "Where?"
Dustin looks up.
Dustin: "The old Hawkins lab."
Everyone goes silent.
Eleven: "That's where it started."
Chloe looks at the team.
Chloe: "Then that's where we go."
Hopper: "It's dangerous."
Chloe: "So is letting Vecna get there first."
Hopper gives a small nod.
Hopper: "Alright. We move together."
The team heads toward the old lab. As they get closer, the lights inside flicker on by themselves.
Steve: "Nope. Absolutely not. Places like this always have something creepy."
Robin: "You're just now noticing?"
The doors slowly open.
Inside, a voice echoes.
Vecna: "I knew you would come."
Eleven steps forward.
Eleven: "Show yourself."
A shadow moves at the end of the hallway.
Vecna: "Welcome back."
The doors slam shut behind the group.
Dustin: "Okay... new problem."
Steve: "What?"
Dustin: "We might be trapped."
The hallway lights flicker. The doors won't open.
Steve: "Okay, nobody panic."
Robin: "You say that every time we're definitely supposed to panic."
Hopper tries the door.
Hopper: "It's locked."
Dustin: "Of course it is. Evil places love dramatic entrances."
Chloe looks around the hallway.
Chloe: "Wait... why would Vecna trap us here instead of attacking?"
Everyone looks at her.
Eleven: "He wants us to follow him."
