Chapter 19

LISA'S POV:

It's been a whole month since Max kidnapped Lauren and I. He has been hurting Lauren every day and she is terrified. She is even scared of me, she doesn't dare to talk because she's too scared. She does not let me clean her wounds because she is scared I'll hurt her. Max also makes her watch him touching me, nothing big but it's scared Lauren a lot. I just hope that our family finds us soon because I don't think Lauren is going to survive a month longer. He luckily gives Lauren the pills she needs to take every day.

Lauren and I are in the room and it's been 2 days without Lauren getting beat up. She is still really scared though, she lost a lot of weight since we don't get enough food and we are basically starving but she also does not eat because she is too scared something will happen or it hurts when she eats.

Lauren please eat something- I begged but she shooked her head and I sighed, she yelped in fair

Lauren please don't be scared of me, I would never hurt you, I promised you remember?- I said and she looked at me. I smiled weakly at her and slowly moved closer to her so I won't scare her.

I told you that I was going to keep my promise this time- I said

Remember?- I asked and she nodded

Then why are you scared of me?- I asked and she teared up

I wanna go home Lise- She said, this is the first thing she said to me after a whole month. I hugged her and she didn't yelped in fair this time

I know honey, I know- I said and she cried into my chest. I hold her closer to me rubbing her back trying to calm her down. After she calmed down she looked at me, I kissed her on her forhead and that's when we heard sirens but we could see if they came for us because there isn't a window or anything to look outside.

Are you coming for us?- Lauren asked scared

I don't know honey, I hope so- I said

MAX LET THE GIRLS GO!- We heard a man's voice scream from outside

I guess they came for us- Lauren joked and I chuckeld and nodded but then the door banged open and Max and another guy grabbed Lauren and I. Lauren sceamed in fair and Max slapped her

Shut up and walk- He snapped and they dragged us outside. We saw a lot us police cars and 3 ambulances and OUR FAMILY!

LAUREN! LISA!- Christina screamed scared since Max and the gun had a gun pointing to us.

Max let the girls go- A police man screamed.

Never!- The other guy screamed but then a police man shot him and I screamed in fair. I was free and turned at Max who was holding Lauren.

Max let her go.......please Max- I begged. Lauren was shaking in fair and tears rolled down her face.

No! it's her fault you broke up with me so she deserves it!- Max screamed

IT WASN'T HER FAULT! YOU HURT HER SO IT'S YOUR FAULT!- I screamed and he shot me in my stomach. Lauren screamed my name and run to me but before she could reash me she got shot four times. She fell on the ground and I saw she was passed out.

Lauren- I managed to say before I passed out.

Lise, Lisa come on honey wake up- I heard my Mom's voice. I opened my eyes and saw I was in a white room. I looked around and saw my family looking at me. I groaned in pain when my stomach start hurting really bad.

How are you?- Kathrine asked

I'm OK- I said, my voice cracked a bit.

You got shot in your stomach but the doctor told us that it'll heal in 5 weeks, you need to rest a lot and not move too much- Dad explained and I nodded. I looked around but didn't see Lauren, but then I remembered she also got shot

How is Lauren?- I asked and they all looked down

What's wrong?!- I asked worried sick right now

They don't know if she is going to make it- Christina said tears falling from her eyes

What?!- I screamed sitting up which hurt really bad

Lisa lay back down honey- Mom said also crying

Where is she?! I need to see her!- I protest

Lisa please- Mike begged

NO I NEED TO SEE HER!- I screamed crying right now. The doctor walked in and we all looked at him

How is Lauren doing?- Amy asked

She is doing better, if she is stable she can get out the intensive care- The doctor said

Intensive care?- I asked worried

How long it's been since the shooting?- I asked looking at the rest

3 weeks- Alex said and I gasped

3 weeks?- I asked and they nodded.

Lauren's change of living is right now 30% instead of 5%- The doctor said

She is healing slowly but if she stays this weak she won't make it- He added and we looked down

Can I see her please?- I asked him

Sure, but you need to stay in the wheelchair- He said and I nodded. He brought a wheelchair and Mike put me in the wheelchair and they rolled me to the intensive care and we saw Lauren, she looked really pale and in pain, she had a breathing mask over her mouth and nose and there were a lot of tubes connected with her. It was horrible seeing her like this and I broke down crying when I grabbed her hand.

I'm so sorry Lolo- I cried. I kissed her pale hand and felt someone rub my back. I looked up and saw Christina also crying. She bent down in front of me and hugged me tight

It's going to be OK Lise, she's going to make it because we all know how strong she is- Christina said and I nodded

What happened to Max?- I asked

He is in jail- Dad said and I nodded sighing in relief. I looked back at Lauren and noticed she start shaking, she start to mumble things and her heart beating went faster since the machine went crazy

What's happening?!- I asked worried. A lot of doctors and nurses ran inside and pushed us out.

What's going on?!- I screamed. A nurse walked to us and we looked at her

Lauren's body is slowly getting weaker and weaker but for some reason her heart start beating too fast, don't worry she's going to be OK- She said and we nodded and calmed down a bit.

Is Lauren going to make it?!
