Chapter 1 - Something

The moon shone bright, high in the sky, signaling midnight. Fog wound around the trees, which swayed in the breeze. This was Nod-Krai. Despite the beautiful scenery there was dark crimson that stained the green, moist grass. The blood that stains the grass belonged to the squad leader of the Nightmare Orioles, Illuga.

As Illuga's weapon flies out of his hand his eyes widen before a teal-haired male bursts from the shades, and hits the wild hunt with a polearm (peak reference). It didn't take long until the wild hunt was eradicated. Before Illuga could realize what had happened the mysterious male had appeared in front of him. Illuga grabbed his polearm from off the ground and pointed it at the male, "Who are you?" Illuga asked cautiously.

The male blinked in what seemed like amusement, when suddenly his face broke in a manic grin. "Me? Hello! I'm Lohen from the Knights of Favonius! And you, 'person who almost died'?"

Illuga scoffs at the name, slightly offended. "1. Don't call me that, and 2. Why should I tell you? For all I know you could be lying to me."

Lohen's eyes seemed to darken momentarily before it dissipated. "I swear I'm not! Just tell me your name, Mr. Alpha!"

Illuga's eyes widened once again, "Who do you- Nevermind that. You're a stubborn person aren't you? But fine. As long as you stop with the damn nicknames I'll tell you."

"Deal!" He responded a little too quickly for a stranger.

"It's Illuga.." The grey-haired male said hesitantly.

Lohen smirked teasingly before saying. "What's Illuga?" he snickered.

The older male's eye twitched in annoyance, before he sighed and restated, "My name is Illuga"

"Okay Illegal, do you live here?" Lohen spoke, looking around curiously.

Illuga took a deep breath in before saying, "It's Illuga, NOT Illegal. And yes, not in this specific area, but I do live here."

"Cool cool, anyway-" a deep, booming voice yelled out Lohen's name and he visibly flinched, though Illuga couldn't tell if it was fake or not. "Well looks like I've gotta run, see you!"

As the teal-haired male ran off Illuga tried shouting out to him, "W-wait!" But Lohen was already too far away, "Damnit.." The older male muttered under his breath.

When suddenly a calming voice rang out behind him, "Young master?" Illuga jumped before realizing the voice belonged to the lone guardian of the abandoned lighthouse, Flins.

"Gods! Don't- don't do that ever again! You jumpscared me." Illegal- I mean Illuga whisper shouted to the taller male.

The taller male looked slightly embarrassed, "Oh, my apologies young master, I meant no harm to your beautiful friend there" He teased

Illuga's face flushed, "He- he's not my- whatever.. And on that note, STOP FLIRTING WITH SOMEONE WHO'S NOT EVEN HERE!!" Illuga shouted, slightly embarrassed at the flirting.

Flins smirked that annoying smirk of his, "Why should I? You said he wasn't yours, so can't I make him mine? Unless you're jealous perhaps?~" He said, leaning down to Illuga, reaching for the underside of the alphas chin.

Illuga backed up, "I'm not like those other alpha's you sway with that act, you should know that by now, Omega" Illuga teased back knowing it pissed off the indigo-haired male.

Flins' expression fell, going from flirty to annoyed, "Don't call me that, shortstack" He said knowing nicknames piss off the younger male.

"I'm not short! I'm average!" The gray-haired alpha said, before the both of them start bursting into laughter.

The Omega then said, "Come on, we both know that's bullcrap, but seriously who was the Omega? You finally gonna get some action?~" The Omega winked.

Illuga's face flushed as he said, "OKAY! That's enough flirting for today!! Let's go back to headquarters!"
