Waking Up

It all started in an ambulance. A woman named Daisy Wellington woke up suddenly. She was heavily pregnant.

Daisy: What the heck? What am I doing in an ambulance?

She carefully got out of the ambulance and saw a big hospital.

Daisy: A hospital. *Sigh* I need a check up anyway. It must be a dream.

She entered the hospital and she saw nurses with bags over their heads. Some were standing and others were dancing. There were gold statues.

Daisy: Weird place.

As she walked she reached the reception desk and spotted another nurse with a head in a bag on the phone.

Reaper Nurse: Mhmm, no problem. Yep. Sure. Absolutely. Leave it to us. You don't have to worry about a thing.

Then she spotted Daisy.

Reaper Nurse: Well, speak of the devil, looks like we already have one. Oh, and she's a looker too. I'll get back to you shortly, okay? Bye bye now.

She hung up and the phone vanished from her hand.

Reaper Nurse: Greetings and welcome to this place of healing and mercy. Mind if I take a look at you? Ohh, you're pregnant? How nice.

Daisy: Hi, my name's Daisy Wellington. I'm here for a check up.

Reaper Nurse: Of course. We can heal your soul as well as your baby. Good luck.

Daisy felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to her right and saw another reaper nurse.

Reaper Nurse: Please, follow me.

She skated and Daisy followed her.
