Heyyy lovelys! :)
This is a crossover between Hogwarts Legacy and Tokyo Revengers in a Soulmate, Red String AU.
Before We Begin...
Don't worry if you haven't played Hogwarts Legacy! Here's a quick crash course on the beginning of the game.
On other chapters l'll add little bits of info along the way so you're not lost. Do let me know if you would prefer the info at the bottom of the chapter like it is on this one, or if it's better slid in between story dialog so you don't have to scroll.
This story will take place at the end of Hogwarts Legacy with these choices -> (Sebastian not turned in + the good ending).
So a little bit of basic info on Hogwarts Legacy...
The game starts September 1st, 1890.
You play as a witch or wizard who is an extremely late bloomer to magic, being enrolled as a fifth-year (age 15). Due to the odd circumstance, a teacher from Hogwarts tutors you beforehand — Professor Eleazar Fig (Magical Theory teacher.) — before travelling with you for your first day.
You travel by carriage, pulled by Thestrals (just an FYI, you can't see them at this point).
Before you leave, a man named George Osric apparates to join you. He's a friend of Professor Fig and Fig's deceased wife, Miriam. He's acting paranoid from the start, even shushing Fig when he tries to speak openly.
We find out very quickly that paranoia is justified.
As the carriage takes off, we see a strange man in a top hat watching the trio before apparating away.
During the journey, Osric finally asks about us and is shocked to learn we're a late enrolment. Fig admits the situation puzzled Hogwarts staff and explains he's taken on the role of mentor.
Osric flatters Fig, and Fig casually remarks:
"Mr Osric is prone to flattery. I daresay it's one of the reasons he's risen so far at the Ministry."
So yeah — Osric is important.
He quickly changes the subject, pulling out the Daily Prophet. There's an article about a goblin named Ranrok:
"RANROK'S GOBLIN REBELLION: TRUTH OR GOBBLEDEGOOK."
Fig says opinions differ on how serious the threat is, while Osric insists the Ministry isn't taking it seriously enough.
Then he drops something important.
He reveals that Miriam had contacted him months before her death asking about Ranrok's activity. Fig is shocked — she never told him.
Osric explains she sent him something through her owl, but without a letter, as if she needed to get rid of it quickly.
He shows us the object.
A strange, sealed artefact made of what looks like goblin metal. It's cylindrical, with a seam suggesting it can open — but no one has managed to do it. Osric says it's protected by a powerful enchantment.
Fig agrees, noting the material and the symbol on it.
And then we interrupt noticing a blue glow around it.
We ask what the blue glow is as we are still learning about magic, unfortunately for us we learn neither Fig or Osric can she that glow.
So... we look a bit mad.
Fig takes a chance and hands it to us. The artefact is definitely glowing, and within seconds of holding it, the seams light up and it opens — revealing a key.
