It all started with a normal day, Obi-wan Kenobi sat in his room within the Jedi temple, Anakin moved out to his own room now that he was knighted and decide he wanted his own space and privacy, so Obi-wan gave no argument and took back his old bedroom to be a new reading room more full of more bookshelves than there had been in the first place.

He had been waiting for Quinlan Vos after a fast cryptic message was sent to his comm to him at about 3 in the morning, something about the Coruscant Guard not being treated fairly and he needed help immediately, which is funny seeing how now Obi-wan had been waiting on Quinlan for nearly 6 hours.

During those hours he has made two pots of tea, moved books upon books into his new reading room, bought a new small couch online and decided to rearrange his living room, then put it all back since he couldn't bear to imagine it look any different then how Qui-Gon had left it.

The sun had fully risen now that it was 9 in the morning and he was on his third pot of tea, brewing now, peppermint was his favorite and the smell was strong in the kitchenette and living area.

He sat down his cup and waited for the tea to finish up when a sudden loud bang on his window, the sound of the kettle whistling combined startled him and his hand went straight for his lightsaber.

"Kenobi!"

Was yelled outside, muffled through the sound of walls and glass.

Obi-wan walked over to his bedroom and opened the window. "Vos, must you always come through windows and scare the ever living force out of me?" Obi-wan pulled Quinlan's arm and dragged him inside.

"Why would I ever stop? I've been doing it for years, its much easier to get into your room." Quinlan smiled and walked into the living room and flopped onto the couch.

"And the front door isn't easy?!" Obi-wan smacked Quin lightly on the top of his head with a nearby book, dropping it lightly on the small glass table.

"Obes, please, you've tried changing me for years, never worked back then, not gonna work now!" Quinlan laughed and chuckled as Obi-wan picked up a through pillow and threw it at Quin, he pushed it lightly with the force back at Obi-wan who hit it back at him without even looking.

He walked into the small kitchen to grab some tea, he pour two cups and walked back into the living area and sat down on the couch next to Quin after handing him a warm cup of peppermint tea.

"Aright alright, enough talk about you, and your lack of ability to use a door, and the reason as to why you commed me so urgently about the Coruscant Guard." Obi-wan moved the pillows behind him to better be comfortable to lend against so he could rest a bit.

"Ah, yes right, them, so I got a concerning message from Commander Thorn, something about Fox not checking in, and Fox always checks in, which is what concerns me, Rys and Jek have recently been stationed outside the Chancellors office and last they knew Fox went inside that very office and never came back."
Quinlan sat his tea down, not feeling like drinking something which would comfort him when he felt he needed to be serious and alert.

"Remind me again, you've recently had a romantic night with Commander Fox did you not?"
"I don't see how thats important right now?!" Quinlan stood and started to pace the length of the living area.
"It's important cause you seem to be letting your emotions of Commander Fox to cloud your better judgement and panic over whats most likely a simple situation." Obi-wan took small sips of his tea.

"Simple situation?! You don't understand, Fox's brothers are worried for him, his missing!!"
"Quin would you not shout? Its still early in the morning."
Obi-wan had finished his own cup of tea and processed to pick up Quinlan's untouched cup.

"It isn't like Fox to just not show up, sure he has expressed his dislike of his work sometimes, but still, he wouldn't just not show up." Quinlan lend against the countertop and looked over directly into Obi-wan's eyes.

"Clones have been known to do this before, maybe he just ran away." Obi-wan lend back and took another sip of his tea.
"Just ran away? No, no no no, that isn't Fox, he cares to much for his brother, and man, if you've seen the look of their barracks Obes, there so small, fridge is nearly empty, shelves bare, and they don't even have a proper med-room, just a small office and a small bed where a desk should be, its awful."

"What is this about Quin? There living conditions or Fox?"
"Both damnit!"
"Quin quiet, for force sakes."
"He didn't run away, someones took him!"
"And what would someone get by taking him? That only changes Thorn becoming a Marshal Commander, and I doubt Thorn would do that to his brother."
"No it isn't Thorn, but someone close they work with."

Obi-wan sat his drink down. "I don't like what your suggesting."
"Oh come on, you don't typically like him either."
"The Chancellor wouldn't kidnap his own guard."

Quinlan sat back down, on a chair across from the couch. "For the right reasons, he'd do a lot of things."
"Don't even say it Quin."
