I'm adding this so people actually know what kind of disaster they've willingly signed up for.
— Firstly, this story is LONG in normal standards, or at least compared to what I usually see—
By "long," I mean by the prologue alone took 13 chapters to finish. Book 1 is currently bulldozing its way past 24 chapters and showing absolutely no signs of stopping.
According to Wattpad, chapter reading times gradually evolve from "a quick fifteen-minute read" into "congratulations, you've accidentally started a part-time job."
If you're a fast reader, you'll probably survive.
Probably.
—Secondly, this is NOT a Twst x OC story—
I repeat.
THIS IS NOT A TWST X OC STORY.
There is no romance.
There is no love triangle.
There is no harem.
I essentially threw someone with a basic understanding of therapy, emotional regulation, and healthy communication into a school populated by walking psychological case studies and pressed "Start."
The highest relationship level you will ever get is:
Patient —> Therapist
Which mostly consists of:
"Hello."
"Hello."
"My life is falling apart."
"I can see that."
And then another three hours of trauma dumping. This story leans more in psychological analyses, but the Author don't even know what they're doing half the time.
Click out immediately if you have a functioning brain cell because I don't think you can handle how brainless this shi got sometimes.
— Thirdly, I use a grammar corrector—
However.
The grammar corrector is not an omniscient deity.
There WILL be mistakes.
There WILL be inconsistencies.
Sometimes names might be misspelled.
Sometimes information might be wrong.
Sometimes I will confidently write something, only to discover three chapters later that I have been spreading misinformation like a Victorian-era newspaper.
Such is life.
—Fourthly, I added extra teachers, side characters, background characters, and other original characters—
Some exist because the story needed them.
Some exist because the setting logically needed them.
Some appeared because I had a cool idea at 2 A.M. and nobody was around to stop me.
They will occasionally show up.
Please do not be alarmed.
I am equally surprised whenever they appear.
—Fifthly, some sections are inspired by the novel version, so certain scenes, worldbuilding details, and explanations may be more elaborate than what appears in-game—
Unfortunately, the only version available in my area is written in a language I have developed a deeply personal grudge against.
I also don't fully trust it to be 100% faithful to the original.
For reference, the last time I read an official translation, it somehow managed to mistake Cater's name for Trey's.
At that point I simply stared into the distance for several minutes and reconsidered the concept of literacy.
But it is trying its best.
Unlike me.
— And lastly—
Certain events will change.
Some scenes will be removed.
Some scenes will be added.
Some scenes will be violently dragged behind a moving vehicle and replaced entirely.
This happens because the MC is not Yuu.
The MC has different priorities.
Different experiences.
Different levels of common sense.
And most importantly:
A significantly lower survival instinct.
My protagonist sees danger, evaluates the situation, considers the consequences, and immediately begins breaking Olympic sprinting records in the opposite direction.
Expect a lot of running away.
An unreasonable amount of running away.
A medically concerning amount of running away.
If a problem can be solved through confrontation, my MC will first spend thirty minutes investigating whether escaping through a window is a viable alternative.
———
Im the type of person who spends way too much time making sure my writing stays consistent. I use m-dashes like my life depends on it (there is too much commas), throw in words nobody says anymore — I even use a grammar corrector.
At this point I just accepted I'm gonna get cooked sooner or later. It's not an "if," it's a "when" gng 💔
Should I just stop using a grammar corrector altogether??

Thank you for reading.
May God have mercy on your reading list.
