He catches me in a kiss that steals my breath. His tongue slips into my mouth as he kisses me slowly and leisurely.
"Oh" I gasp.
"I missed this." Jared whispers in her ear, his voice so deep, while he kisses my cheek, my jaw and trailing down my neck.
We undress each other frantically.
"Lie back baby" he whispers.
We haven't made love in almost a month. Jared came home early from a business trip.
Before the kids need picking up from daycare and didn't waste time. The bed is squeaking underneath us while he ravages me like a starving animal.
"Jared, Jared, Jared" I whisper as I arch my back. I claw at his chest throwing my head back as he latches his mouth to my skin, sucking my throat.
He lets out a loud moan as his rhythm falters. I come in hard and fast waves. He follows almost immediately.
We untangle and cuddle for a few minutes. He looks at me with an expression so light and happy making my heart flutter saying "I love you so much."
We eventually get out of bed, take a shower together where we make love again before getting dressed to pick up our boys.
Jared works as an investment banker.
When I first met him, his job was very demanding, I barely saw him.
That hasn't changed at all. He's trying to work his way up so I have to be patient.
I hate it when he's away.
He's always too tired and distant when I call.
The exact opposite of what he's like at home.
We are singing loudly in the car to the music playing on the radio. He grabs my hand while driving, I interlock our fingers.
I hear a loud horn. I'm blinded by the brightest light in front of me followed by a sudden screech, sharp bang.
When the collision happens, I'm still unaware of what's going on. The windows are shattered, I try to get up, I smell gasoline in the air.
My head is bleeding, my ears are ringing. I try to move, I look up to shout for help and fall back down again in complete darkness.
When I wake up in the hospital a few hours later, life as I know it will never be the same again.
