A Surprise party

I walk into the kitchen for breakfast, my dad greets me with a warm smile his brown-ish red-ish beard with the slight gray hairs a little messy his dark blue eyes looking droopy and tired "How did you sleep peanut?" He knows I hate being called that as i'm allergic to all nuts, and i'm almost 16 "Good, how was work?" I already know his answer will be "Same Crap Different Day" (SCDD) but I ask anyways because I care about him. "Same Crap Different Day" he says as he slides gluten free pancakes on my plate. "I'm sorry" I say as he places bacon and eggs on my plate "Thanks" I say as I pour syrup on my pancakes. "Freya you don't need to be apologizing for stuff that's not your fault" He says as he puts stuff in the blender for a smoothie. "Okay" I finish breakfast then go back to my room and change. Schools out for the summer but I still wake up early because, I have plans with my friends. Today we are gonna celebrate my birthday because my 16th is tommorrow, but I will be visiting my mom tomorrow so I won't be able to hang out with them.

A couple hours pass and I walk over to Catelyn and Ryan's house, there mom answers the door and invites me in. I thank her and walk to the basement where i'm greeted by decorations my jaw drops as they pop out and yell surprise. "What the heck?!" I say as Catelyn, Ryan, and Bethany hug me. "you guys didn't need to do all this for me" I say as I hug them. Ryan blushes but I pretend not to notice "But your worth it, your there for us any time we need anything, so we wanted to do something for you." Catelyn says as Ryan hands me a gluten free cupcake and I thank him. Ryan just turned 17 in May has blonde hair brown eyes and black glasses I know he likes me but I like him in secret as it would be akward because he is Catelyn's older brother. "Time to open your gift!" Beth says as she pulls me away and tells me to sit down in a chair her short dark blonde hair a little tangled as her grey-ish eyes look happy .

I sit down "you guys didn't need to do all this for me how can I repay you?!" I say as Beth shoves three gifts into my face. "Your birthday is tomorrow the way you can repay us is relaxing and not feeling like you need to do stuff for us" Cate says as she motions for me to open it her brown hair slightly messy her brown eyes telling me I should listen. I open it and see a really cute locket and I open it "aww, a picture of all of us on Christmas Eve" I say smiling as I remember all the events that happened that night. "That's so sweet!" I hug all of them smiling "Thank Ryan he's the one who new you would like it" Beth says as she helps me put it on. "Thanks Ryan" I say smiling at him as he blushes but I pretend not to notice again. "What video games do you wanna play?" Cate says quickly as she notices her brother blushing. "I don't have a preference" I say as Cate turns on the gaming console.We start playing random video games and have a great time,I keep catching Ryan glancing at me but pretend not to notice even though everytime he looks at me my heart starts racing.

Hours pass as we play video games, "Anyone hungry? Ryan asks as the round finishes. We all say yes and we go upstairs, we hop in Ryan's car and we go to get dinner at a fast food place. We bring the food back to the house and start eating dinner, we go back to playing video games and eventually we all fall asleep me next to Ryan, Cate and Beth next to each other. Ryan wakes up and slides his arm around my shoulder pulling me a little bit closer before going back to sleep.
