"Think about it, what have they done for us?" Lavender asked, and the whole council held their breath. "Lavender, while they do remain isolated, it does not mean that they don't provide to the greater picture. What would we do in the harsher months, when we have to send some of the members of our tribes to a warmer climate?" Cooper questioned, making it clear she didn't consider the Cheetah Tribe useless, but would it matter if the others didn't think the same? The Leaders of the other tribes pondered this for a moment. "We can build our own shelters for our own Tribes. Additionally, if they only provide use during the winter, what about the rest of the year?" Lavender said. Cooper flattened her ears in protest, most likely thinking about what happened to her sister, Cookie. Luckily, her bodyguard and best friend, Star, was there to speak. "May I have my input in this council?" The Leader of the Bear Tribe, Flip, nodded. "Even though, by Tribal standards, I am not part of the horse Tribe, I still feel ashamed to hear this from those who I used to consider kin."
"Well, we do have a predicament here, don't we?" Lavender answered her own question with "Let's cast a vote. All in favor of casting the Cheetahs out from our society?" 6 Leaders raised various appendages- paws, hooves - those 6 being the Horse, Bear, Crocodile, Gorilla, Kangaroo and Fox Leaders. Cooper was taken back by this, as were the other 4 Leaders who disagreed. "Majority. We cast the Cheetahs out." Lavender said smugly. Breathing deeply, Cooper tried to calm herself. Surely as the main Leader, she would have some power, but not against this. "Lavender. You can take the rest of the Leaders that voted with you - Flip, Mango (investigators reference?!?!!?), Locklyn, Chia and Sky- with you. I expect the Cheetahs to declare war on everyone, so I will gather the kingdoms to stash our resources. Additionally, I would like to receive a full report on what happens." They Leaders in question agreed, including Lavender. "Yes, your Majesty, heir to the throne of Sunlight." They said in unison, making it clear Cooper could trust them.
How many will return, I wonder?
