On a rainy afternoon, Rhea was waiting for friends. Her phone had only 4% of battery left. Just as she was about to call Aryan. She noticed an old woman sitting at the far end of the platform – she wore a green saree. Rhea is an inquisitive girl. She was curious about that old woman, then the old lady said to Rhea that she had a curious eye and the kind that can see what others fear. Rhea was startled. The old woman pointed her finger towards Rhea and said: "Don't go where the hill whispers your name. The place... the house... the buried beneath them is not meant for living". Rhea was chilled. She asked, "What house?" casually. The old woman then said to Rhea, "They called it 'Raakh Mahal'. The house of ashes, it was burned once... but never truly gone. It remembers everyone who steps in." Rhea was going to ask one more question then, but suddenly the train sound scared her, and when she turned back, the old woman had vanished. By the time Aryan and her friends had come and said sorry for being late. Looking at Rhea, Aryan asked, "What are you staring at?" Rhea hesitated, still scanning the station. She said, "Nothing, just... a weird dream, maybe". At night, she couldn't sleep. The name "Raakh Mahal" was echoed in her ear, deep in her chest... something whispered.
