Split String of Fate:(Killua x Reader x Kurapika)

~Getting Killua Back: Part 7~

           "Mann I thought they'd be here by now." Killua sighed, leaning back into the couch. 

           "Aren't they?" You ask. 

           "Apparently not. Gotoh told me he'd tell me once they arrived." 

           "So, we're just going to wait here?" You ask, shifting in your seat. You weren't ablt to get as comfortable as Killua and were sitting on the edge of the couch with your back uncomfortably straight. 

           Killua just shrugs and stretches his arms across the top of the couch, his right arm resting just behind your back.  You tense up immediately, sensing his arm so close. 

           The two of you remain silent in your seats until the silence grew extremely uncomfortable. 

           "Hey Y/n." Killua said, braking the silence and making you almost jump out of your skin. 

           "What?!" You snap at him way too quickly and aggressively. 

           "What the heck's wrong with you?" He asks sitting up and leaning his elbows on his knees to get a better look at you. 

           "N-Nothing..." You lie, tilting your head down a little more to hide your face behind your hair. Killua leans in closer in attempts to find your face, but you just reel back more. He soon finds your eyes and you panic, "S-Somthing just doesn't seem right!" You blurt out. 

           "What do you mean?" He asks leaning back a bit. 

           "It's just... When I left them, we couldn't have been that far away from the Office. They had to have gotten here by now." 

          "Huh." Killua sighs and jumps up to his feet, "I'll go check it out." You look up at him as he walks towards the door. "You coming he asks?" Turning towards you. 

          "N-No," You say, deciding you need the time alone to mull over your thoughts, "My legs are hurting a bit. Also I think you could you some time alone with the guys if you do find them. You know to catch up." Killua looks at you skeptically, but simply shrugs and continues out the door. You breath a sigh of relief and fall back into the couch's cushions. 

         "What am I going to do." You sigh heavily.

          You sat there motionless, not once being able to sort out any of your tangled thoughts. If anything, that time alone only jumbled up your thoughts more. 

          "Miss. L/N." You jerk your head up to meet the eyes of a butler. 

          "Yes?" You ask cautiously. 

          "You are wanted in the main lounge." 

          "Main lounge?" You ask shocked by how grand the Butler's Office really was. 

          "Yes, please follow me." 

          He leads you into an even larger sitting area, where many butlers were stationed. A very intimidating one sat in a couch in front of four people who were speaking quite loudly. You could recognize those hairstyles and voices anywhere. You lean your arms on the back of the couch they were sitting on and smile down at them. 

          "Hey guys." 

          "Y/n!" They all cheer in unison, greeting you with wide smiles. Gon was the first to pull you into a hug. You nearly fell forward into the couch. They ran around to your side of the couch and the rest of them gave you hugs. 

          "Where've you been?" Leorio asks. You look over towards Kurapika and he just nods at you. 

          "I was feeling sick and stayed back to rest for a bit. On my way back I met up with Killua." You send Killua a glance and he simply shrugs, letting you tell your story. You were going to tell them what really happened later, but the butlers didn't have to know you broke in. 

         "Let's get going then?" Kurapika said standing up. 

         You all make your way out the door, but you're stopped by two arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you into a tight hug. "I missed you Y/n. I really did." You turn to see Canary smiling up at you. 

        "I missed you too Canary." You say, returning her embrace, "We'll talk soon okay?" 

        "Of course." She smiles brightly, "Take care of Master Killua okay?" Your eyes widden and you blush slightly. 

        "W-What do you mean?" You stammer. 

        "You're friends aren't you?" She questions, then she catches on to your nervousness and smirks. "Or is there more to it?" 

        "N-No! I-I dont know... Maybe? I'll talk to you soon." You give her another quick hug before running to catch up with the others. 

        "Take care of him..." Canary smiles to herself before turning back into the Butler's Office.
