"Fuck me..." You groaned out, taking a drag from the, unfortunately almost finished, joint in your hand. Your arms sprawled themselves across the back of the couch, allowing you to slump against it.
"Woah, exams really got ya fucked this time, huh?" You heard Kidd call out. Both of you were in your shared living room, pizza boxes, beer, and a bag of weed making up most of the decor. Kidd had let you move in with him once you finally decided to start college, though by that point he was already two years ahead of you. Which made sense, you were only twenty one after all.
Reaching over to grab a slice of pizza, you sighed. "It's my German and Spanish courses. I made the stupid decision to pick two foreign languages in hopes they'd make me look better in the future." You groaned, taking a bite from your slice before passing it over to Kidd, who took it happily.
This is often how your weekends or stressful days are spent: ordering food and getting shit faced. It was a great tradition, really; especially with the comfortable vibe it gave the both of you. It allowed you to not only get some sense of stress relief, but Kidd was abnormally touchy when he was high, and you're a glutton for physical affection.
Not even noticing that Kidd had not only rolled a second one, but also took a drag, you felt him turn your head and kiss you, the smoke filling up your lungs with a wonderful burn. Giggling, you nibbled on his bottom lip before pulling away, some smoke leaving your lips. You felt the redhead pull you onto his lap, your thighs on either side of his; it was a stretch though, since his thighs were well toned and could easily cover one of your own. But that was just like Kidd, he never failed to make you feel small just with the sheer size of his frame. One of his hands rested on the small of your back, while his chin rested on your shoulder. You could feel him inhale again, and the smoke tickling your ear made you sigh.
It was comfortable like this, just the two of you in your own little world, easily ebbing all of your stress away. It was one of the wonders of living with Kidd, you two fit together perfectly. You both had a relationship that allowed you to be affectionate and lovey without it being awkward or crossing any lines.
"Y'know," He began, taking a long drag as his fingers tapped along your back. "I have a good friend. He's a spoiled medical student, but he might be able to help ya. Fluent in all sorts of funky languages." He spoke. This made you snort. Kidd was never the best at descriptions.
"Alright Eustass, tell me; what's this spoiled medical student friend of yours like?" You spoke playfully. Though in all actuality you weren't just gonna let just anyone help you, friend of Kidd's or not. It had to at least be someone you can get along with, maybe even smoke with.
"Y'know I'm picky with who I allow to steal my time. You should know that I'm also spoiled in my own way." Kidd choked on the beer he was currently sipping on before you heard a loud laugh leave him. It was a beautiful laugh, really; you're surprised no one's fallen for him just for his laugh alone.
He put down his can to look up at you, hands resting on your waist as he gave you a cheeky smile.
"Well, ya both are a lot alike. Both way too snarky and spoiled for your own good. I think you two will get along great."

When Kidd had told you the address to Law's apartment, you hadn't expected him to live in the nicest complex in the damn city. Kidd did say he was a medical student, however, so you suppose it made sense. Someone who could afford those course prices could most likely also afford a nice apartment.
Stepping into the building you looked down at the, rather sloppy, note Kidd had given you with Law's apartment number on it. The very top floor? Of course Law would've chosen a place it takes way too long to get to, even by elevator. You heard the familiar ding, and saw the nearest elevator closing.
