Author's note: Hey guys, after chapter 6, "something is wrong with my wand" you'll probably notice change in writing style and I haven't gotten around to changing the POV framing from 1st to 3rd. I don't know if I actually will. between chapter 5 and 6 was a big time jump, rough 8 to 12 months apart and I changed my writing style and the plot of this book has also changed. A lot of effort was put into planning this whole entire book out, roughly over 40 pages of mapping out the 7 years at Hogwarts the MC will be at so it'll be slow because for me to produce the best writing I can, imagine need more time to make sure everything flows correctly.

"Go on! Go on!" Her father pushed her out of the house.
"Don't bother to come back until tomorrow morning!"
This is what her father had told her when she had showed him the letter that she had received from my now new school, Hogwarts of witchcraft and wizardry today on my eleventh birthday. But he resented the idea of me going. And there was only one reason why that he hated that place. My mother went there but he's a muggle. So he didn't have the opportunity to live the life my mother had. He blamed it on magic.
Even the thought of magic was banished from the household. So me and my sister are to never speak of it. That changed when I explained that I was going to go to the school that mother had attended, he didn't take it very well. He went ballistic. I mean when was he ever in a good mood around her? Ever since mother died when giving to birth to her sister, Dory- to which mother had died in complications due to childbirth and my sister lived. But she had been ill since the first breath she took.
Apparently in his mind I had cursed my mother and sister, but when my sister was born and when my mother died I was only 2 years of age. But how could I learn magic when the only person in the family who had magic is now dead? That is another reason why I don't know that much about the Wizarding world. Although, she has minor knowledge about it.
I had learned a few more things about my mother, she came from a long line of Slytherins and that she was basically really rich. Which I think was the reason it attracted my father to her. Father was always a needy man for money, even if it could only be used in a different world than the one he lived in. He was also like this when my mother was here, but she didn't care. She just wanted children to love. He always took and never gave back saying that I didn't deserve his generosity, called me a murderer and stomped off leaving me in the stairway baffled and a little more hurt than I already was.
That also led me to go to Diagon Alley alone, which was rather peaceful in my opinion, to not have anyone screaming in my ear 24/7 but that also made her think that she couldn't share her memories with her sister but then decided that she would share it with her when she got back. Mother had left me the key to her vault- that she left in a box in a corner of the attic- in Gringotts bank for wizards so I had access to money, and man there was lots of that. Diagon Alley was full of new and old wizards and witches, the old guiding the new into shops and getting the supplies that were needed from the list that was sent with the acceptance letter. It was refreshing from the room that she was locked in most of the time at her tiny home on the edge of london.
After around two and a half hours go by and you almost have everything- I also bought a trunk to come with me to hogwarts but I asked if it could be sent to my house and they shopkeeper agreed, I had also gotten a Maine Coon, which is a cat that could grow up to twice the size of a normal house cat– all that you need was the clothing and a wand, the last thing had me bouncing up and down on the balls of my feet. These shopping experiences have been the time of her life, she talked to a few of the older students then went on her way to the next place she needed to buy from.
