Gianna Nott, Theodore Nott's twin sister, was the kind of girl people underestimated at first glance. Her long, bleached-gold curls cascaded down her back, framing stormy blue eyes sharp enough to unsettle even the most confident person. She looked far too innocent for the trouble that seemed to trail behind her wherever she went or for the nicotine addiction she hid behind that deceptively angelic appearance
Born and raised in Italy alongside her brother, Gianna grew up surrounded by luxury, old pure-blood traditions, and far too much freedom for a girl with her temper. Beneath the sweet smiles and pretty face hid someone dangerously stubborn and more than willing to throw a punch when needed.
After being expelled from yet another prestigious school over what her parents bitterly referred to as "a minor disagreement" though witnesses described it as a full-blown catfight her family finally had enough. Their solution? Ship her off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Gianna didn't want to go to Hogwarts for her fifth year. She refused to leave Italy behind for what she called "some ridiculous wizarding school." Unfortunately for her, her parents weren't interested in excuses anymore. They wanted her to learn discipline, understand the wider wizarding world, and, preferably, stop getting expelled from schools.
