Nulls curse

Chapter 1

It was a sunny morning for Rodentclan. Just like usual. Leader Wisteriastar came out her den looking for her warrior Nullfur to come along with her through the forest. She found Nullfur on a rock basking in the warm sun, "Nullfur there you are. Would you like to come with me through the forest to catch prey for the clan?" Leaders werent the ones who would hunt but Wisteriastar enjoyed doing it and she enjoyed helping her clan. She had a big heart and a pure soul. Nullfur stretched as he got up from the rock, his black fluffy fur shining in the sun. Wisteriastar started leading the way to the forest and Nullfur followed. The forest was beautiful and it always was. Many trees lining the ground and reaching the skies. Wisteriastar and Nullfur trotted together into the forest, "We should go to basil creek. Theres been many mice there!" Wisteriastar said with a smile. Nullfur smiled, "sure. But dont push me into the creek again!" Nullfur stated with some laughter. Wisterastar laughed aswell and led the way to the basil creek. It wasnt too far from Rodentclan so it wasnt a long walk. Nullfur listened to sounds of running water and birds chirping in the trees. He stayed listening for a moment and heard a rustle, a mouse. He listened for the source of the sound and then saw the little mouse eating some wild berries next to a tree stump. Nullfur waited for the perfect moment then pounced on the mouth and biting into it with his fangs, "I got one!" Nullfur said with a muffled voice since the mouse was still in his jaws. He looks at Wisteriastar and sees that she has also caught something. A fat dove. They agree that this is enough food for now, and they both trot back to the Rodentclan camp. They both make it back and drop the prey into the fresh kill pile. It looks like another warrior also caught some prey because there were 2 more birds in the pile. Warrior Swiftwag walked to the two, "I also went out hunting. This will definitely be enough for the clan." She said with pride. Wisteriastar was proud of her, "good job Swiftwag. You have been alot of help to this clan." Swiftwag was proud of herself. Wisteriastar then announces to the clan that they can now eat. Cats started circling the fresh kill pile and started to eat. But then, Warrior Sharpsight ran to Wisteriastar,"Theres a big rouge in the forest coming this way! I dont know what his intentions are but it isnt looking good." She said out of breath. Nullfur and Wisteriastar look at eachother with concern, "get deputy Robinshade and deputy Micecloud." Nullfur nods and runs searching for the two. He finds them on the rock he was on earlier, "Robinshade! Micecloud! Theres a rouge cat coming this way and Wisteriastar is ordering you guys to be ready if things go wrong." Robinshade and Micecloud dont even hesitate to sprint to guard the border, their paws fastly covering ground as they passed the trees. As the deputys stood their ground everyone at camp was on edge. They rarely have attacks or intruders. A figure emerged from the shadows. A big fluffy orange tom cat that looked mean, "Why are you on our territory?" Robinshade said, standing her ground. The orange tom stared Robinshade and Micecloud down then said, "I just want to see your leader." His voice was calm. Not a threat. Yet. Robinshade looked baffled, "Why do you want to see the leader? You don't even have the right to be in our territory." The orange tom listened to Robinshade then stated, "I have nowhere else to go, and I believe you guys could use a strong warrior like me. No troubles. Just a plea. I want a place to stay." Robinshades face softened. This cat just wanted a place to stay and to help the clan, "you can talk to the leader. But if she declines, you shall not come back to these grounds." Afterwards Robinshade and Micecloud turned around, trotting back to camp as the tom followed behind. Wisteriastar looked towards the forest hoping the cat had left the territory. Until she sees 3 figures appearing, from afar Robinshade announces, "Wisteriastar. This cat would like to request something. He says he isn't trouble." Wisteriastar isn't used to cats asking for something, but she accepts. The orange tom stands in front of Wisteriastar looking innocent, "Your majesty, I am Leonclaw, I would like to request something. Just a tiny request." Robinshade watches as Leonclaw asks for something. Which was a home, like he said earlier. Or thats what Robinshade thought. Leonclaw continues, "I request to take your place." everycat gasps watching the scene unfold. This cat was threatening their leader. Wisteriastar growled, "Deputys, Warriors. Get this disloyal stray cat out my territory." instantly cats started piling on top of Leonclaw scratching and biting him with great force. Leonclaw wailed and hissed then threw each cat off him, turning around and started slashing all the warriors and the deputies with such grace and skill. Everycat was now fighting for their life against Leonclaw while also trying to take him down. Wisteriastar jolted with fear in her eyes. Her clan was losing. Nullfur started panicking, his ears pinning back onto his head. Out of panic, Nullfur joined the fight, knowing he will be no match. Nullfur was able to get a good bite on Leonclaw, but that didnt last long when he swung his sharp claws towards Nullfur then flung him off, blood spewing out the wound Leonclaw gave to Nullfur. He lands on the dirt with a thud, blood still draining above his eye where Leonclaw cut him. He stands up, disoriented, hearing nothing but cat hisses and cries. He finally focuses and sees nothing but horror in front of him. Leonclaw on top of Wisteriastar about to kill her with one swipe. Nullfur stands there. Not knowing what to do. All he can do is watch. Wisteriafur notices Nullfur and looks at him and gives him her last smile before Leonclaw afterwards slashes her face open, slashing repeatedly with his claws. Nullfur just watches in pure horror. All her 9 lives gone in just one small instant. Theres blood everywhere. All over the camp. After the carnage, Leonclaw stands high and proud, "I am proud to say I am now leader of Rodentclan." Not many cats were listening. Some dead or running away. Warrior Swiftwag got her tail brutally ripped off the only thing remaining is a nub, Mousewisp got his ears torn off, And Maplestream got a slash across her face. Leonclaw was proud of his work. Watching as everyone limped and wailed. Nullfur decided he was going to run away and never come anywhere near this horrid clan ever again. Not when Leonclaw is the leader. He proceeds to bolt through the trees as fast as he could. Not being able to get the horrid image of dying Wisteriastar out his mind. Nullfurs paws worked furiously as he sprinted through the forest, and over basil creeks 4-point bridge. He could feel exhaustion creeping into his limbs. He was running so fast he could hardly breathe. Nullfur falls from exhaustion, tumbling to the ground with a yowl. He stays on the ground vision blurred by the blood leaking onto his eye from his bleeding gash on his eyebrow. Nullfur shakily stands back up, blood soaking half his fur on his face. His ear twitches and hears something. Leonclaw. Nullfur instantly starts to bolt away again, his paws and lungs burning once more. Leonclaw quickly caught up, roaring with outrage. Nullfur has an idea, then sprints pass Leonclaw and back towards basil creek. Leonclaws ears twitch, and pin back in anger as he must turn around to chase Nullfur. His paws worked frantically as he sprinted back towards the creek, wind whipping at his fur and, blood still bluring his vision. This had to work; it had to. When at the edge of the running water of the creek, Nullfur dosent hesitate, and he jumps into the rushing water. The water swallowing him whole like a fox swallowing a mouse. Leonclaw skidded to a halt at the edge of the water looking as the current swept away Nullfur easily. Nullfur gasped for air as the current started pulling him under. He struggled to control his swimming as his paws flailed around, trying to steady him. Wisteriastar taught him how to swim. Would he be able to do it?
