FLASHBACK.......

Ally's graduation

"Hey guys! Congrats!" I yelled as Sarah and I stopped beside Ally and Danny. I looked at Ally as she looked at her hands.

"Thanks." Ally muttered under her breath.

"Where's Celine?" I asked as I got curious.

"Uh, Celine's not here. She had work and she cou---" Danny said as Ally cut him off.

"Celine dumped me." Ally said cutting off Danny. I looked at Ally as she just stared down at the ground.

"Oh." I said as I got worried.
"So what college are you guys going to?" I asked cheerfully as I changed the topic so the awkwardness would go away.

"UCLA all the way." Danny said as he sounded excited.

"Ally?" I asked as I waited for her reply.

"I'm skipping college." Ally said as I was shocked

"Are you sure? Think about your life. You--" I said but Ally cut me off.

"I'm doing fine! I'm magnificent! My life's gonna go great. Okay? STOP! JUST STOP!" Ally yelled. She then ran off to somewhere as Danny tried to follow her. I was gonna follow them but I felt Sarah's hand grasping on my wrist.

"Don't. Ally just needs space. She's gonna be fine." Sarah said as I looked at her and smiled. She kissed my forehead.

FLASHBACK.......

College Graduation

I woke up from my slumber sleep. I remembered that it was graduation day. I looked beside me and Sarah wasn't there. Weird, she's usually next to me when I wake up.

I got up the bed and went to the living room. She wasn't there either. I checked the kitchen and she was also not there. I looked at my phone to see a voicemail from Sarah. I clicked on it.

"Hey Stevie." Her voice sounded sad. "I don't know where to start." She sighed and I heard her sniff. "Listen. I loved you, I really did. But I'm afraid I'm falling out of love. I'm at the airport and I'm waiting to board the plane to New York. I've been planning this since last month. I didn't tell you because I didn't want to hurt you. My mom and I already talked and we both agreed that it's the best for me to move back to New York. I'm sorry, I really am. You deserve better than me and I--" I cut off the voicemail. I couldn't listen to it anymore. I sat on the kitchen floor, crying. I contemplated what to do with myself. I got up, got ready for graduation, and drove to graduation. I wasn't gonna miss graduation over Sarah dumping me again. 'I'm better off' that's what I kept on telling myself.

5 YEARS AFTER

PRESENT DAY.......

"We got an order for a mojito and fries!" One of the waiters shouted.

I walked into the kitchen. I saw my chefs cooking well. There were a lot of talking and sizzling. You could smell the different aromas of the different spices.

"Ms. Boebi? Your car is ready in the drive way." Grace said, my assistant.

"Thank you." I said as I smiled at her.

I walked towards the exit and on my way there, I saw Mr. Smith and Mr. Anderson talking to one of their clients. I waved and they waved as well. I hurriedly walked to my car and started driving home.

I parked in my parking lot and went inside my house. I looked at my emails and saw one that was from Mr. Smith. It said that he found the right artist to sing at my resto-bar and the artist is gonna perform tomorrow. I smiled to myself because that was great news. New artist=More people at the resto-bar. I took a disco nap cause I only had 4 hours of sleep.

I was awoken by whisky's paw scratching my leg. I checked my phone and I remembered that I had to get ready for a date. I wore a black dress and got in my car. I drove to Nicole's house and knocked on her door.

"Good Evening. You look gorgeous as always." I said as I looked at her from head to toe.

"Well hello. You look really beautiful too." Nicole said as I offered her my hand and walked to my car. I opened the door for her and she got in the car. I drove to my resto-bar and we got out of the car.

We sat in the middle of the resto-bar and it was the best seat in the house. We talked about ourselves to know each other more. We had a few glasses of champagne and we had a good night. We walked back to my car and I opened the door for her again.

As I was driving back home, Nicole fell asleep. I looked at her and she looked beautiful. When we got to her place, I poked her shoulder softly.

"Hey, we're here. I think you better get some sleep." I said as she woke up. She smiled and I walked her to the door of her house.

"I had a grand night." I said as I moved one step closer to her.

"Me too. But um, I don't know hot to say this nicely." Nicole said as she looked worried.

"Say what nicely?" I asked as I looked really worried.

"I don't think we should go out anymore. You're a nice girl but I don't think that we're a fit." Nicole said as I was kind of affected by what she said.

"Oh. If that's what you want then I respect that." I said as I tried my best to smile at her. She smiled back and got in her house.

I went inside my car and just stared at my steering wheel. My love life sucked since Sarah left me. I drove home thinking that again and again.

Once I got home and I looked around my house. I felt lonely. Maybe my love life sucked since I left Ally?
