𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Michael Jackson x fem!reader

𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬: You went out with a group of friends to a club and they never knew that you and Michael know each other already they were to blind to see it, you were drinking shot after shot when you needed to go to the bathroom Michael kept an eye on you and he saw a guy following you, you can imagine what happens next.

𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐬: fight, drinking, kissing, touching

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 4.2K

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: I wanted this story to feel intense, emotional, protective, and romantic all at once. Michael and Y/n (you whoever is ready)  have years of history, hidden feelings, and unresolved tension between them, so once everything finally breaks loose... it really breaks loose 😭

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝: Yes/No

The music in the bar was loud enough to make conversation difficult, but not impossible.

You stood near the edge of the booth with one hand wrapped around a sweating glass of vodka cranberry while your friends laughed over some story Ryan was dramatically retelling for the tenth time.

"I'm telling you," Ryan insisted, pointing at himself proudly, "that dog hated me personally. There was intent in its eyes."

"You screamed louder than Mia," Sophie shot back.

"That is absolutely not true."

You laughed softly under your breath, shaking your head.

It had been years since you've seen all of them together in one place.

College schedules, work, relationships, moving cities—life had gotten in the way of things. But tonight everyone somehow managed to be here, squeezed into a crowded downtown bar glowing with dim amber lights and flickering neon signs.

And somehow...

Michael was here too.

You tried not to stare at him.

Really, you did.

But it was difficult when he looked exactly the same and completely different all at once.

Still tall. Still unfairly attractive. Still carrying that quiet confidence that made people naturally gravitate toward him.

Except now there was something sharper about him.

Older. More controlled.

More dangerous.

He leaned against the booth beside Ryan, one arm lazily draped over the backrest while he listened to the conversation with an amused smirk.
