Hidden secrets

Chapter one

I change out of my gear, I just got into a fight with my best friend. I was back into the locker room after getting thrown out the ice from JV's coach. I hear Rick complaining about Charlie and the others to everyone else, but I barely pay attention. I was too busy thinking on how the fight even started. How stupid I was to overwhelm Charlie. I finished changing and try walking out of the locker room, but before I can grab the handle, Rick pulls me back.

"Where do you think you're going? I'm not done talking. You wanna crush those little jerks, right?"

I didn't, those were my friends. I didn't want to hurt them. But I already did. It was all my fault. I look down at my shoes, no way was I gonna look Rick in the eye right now.

"Yeah.."

I stood there waiting for Rick to stop talking about JV, about my friends. That never happened. Finally, Scooter shuts him up. Rick rolls his eyes and starts to change out of his gear. I quickly grab the handle and walk out of the locker room before anyone could say anything.

The walk back to my dorm was dreadful. I was scared one of the ducks would see me and start chasing me for hurting their perfect captain. Hurting their gorgeous and perfect Charlie... Stop it Adam, what's wrong with you..? I sighed and continued to walk with my head down. Man, I hated having to share a dorm with JV instead of varsity. luckily I didn't see anyone.

I walk into the dorm and see Guy. He was sitting on his bed, he turned his head and looked at me. I close the door behind me and place my bag with my gear on my bed and sit down, my head down.

"Hey... You okay?" Guy said

If there was anyone I wanted to share a dorm with, it was Guy. He understood me and no matter what I did, he was there for me. He didn't care that I caused a big fight with Charlie.

"Yeah... I guess. You?" I replied back, I looked back up at him and forced a small smile. He probably knew it was fake.
