Brooklynn had been adopted by the Howard family when she was 6. She wants to close with Jackie, but their older sister? She was her best friend.
Of course she was a city girl. But unlike Jackie, Brooklyn got mixed with the wrong crowd, going off partying, drinking and smoking. Her parents think it's just teenage girl stuff, but really it's just to deal with all her emotions and her past.
You see, as a child, she got ripped away from her family. Her mother was an alcoholic and her dad a workaholic. He was never home.
But the moment she got the news her adoptive parents and older sister had died, she pushed everyone away. She didn't speak to Jackie or her best friend Blair. She just smoked in the usual alleyway and ignored everyone. Until they got sent to Colorado to live with the walkers.
Little did she know her life would change, and a boy called Isaac could help her with her bad habits.
