The Hard Truth

Chapter 1

Marinette's POV:

It's been 2 years now. For two years I've been in a relationship with Adrien Agreste..

The dream model

With a heart full of gold.. they said.

They were wrong, blinded by his picture perfect performance.

Even I fell for it...

Those emerald green eyes, his irresistible charm, That Handsome smile and chiseled Jawline. His Golden hair that shines in the sun. Even his abs were picture perfect..

Everything about him is like he came from imagination..

Then there's me, a short bluenette haired girl who's got bright blue eyes, I'm Super Clumsy and I fumble at the mouth all the time. I'm a walking disaster.. who has the chance to shine next to perfection.

'I sigh as I spin in my chair, sliding across my room. Grabbing a ruler before spinning back to my mannequin continuing on my design'

Though lately something's been off with Adrien. And I can't put my finger on it. I had asked him multiple times this week if we could hangout.. but he dodges every time I ask and then leaves or stops answering me.

'i step back as I admire my finished design putting my hands on my hips in pride. I watch as Willow flies over from her bed and examines the dress.'

"Wow marinette!! This dress looks amazing *squeak*! You're going to look amazing tomorrow!!" 'Willow says as she flies over and hugs my cheek, I smile in response hugging her back'

"Awe you're so sweet Willow~ I'm going to head to bed, we've got an early day tomorrow!  I'm finally going to surprise Adrien with my answer!"

'Willow nods excitedly as she flies to her bed and cuddles up in a ball, I do the same as I walk up the ladder and flop onto the comfy mattress. Sighing in comfort as I bundle under the covers.'

A few weeks ago I was with Adrien and we had been making out. He started to get a little too handsy and tried taking off my shirt. I kinda flipped out on him and he apologized but asked me 'Tell me when you 're comfortable enough~ I will always wait for you' and then he kissed my cheek.

I think I'm ready to be with you Adrien body and soul~

After a while my eyes left droopy as my vision blurred and I soon fell asleep.

•THE NEXT DAY•

'My eyes shoot open as I feel a pinch on my cheek  quickly sit up and see a very angry looking Willow looking at me. I give a cheeky smile as I rub the back of my neck' 

"Marinette! I've been trying to get you up for 10 minutes! We have to get ready to go!"

"Okay! Okay I'm going~" 'I say as I get out of bed and quickly change in my new dress. I look at myself in the mirror proud of my work and grab my bag and Adrien's gift quickly rushing down the stairs and out the door'

'I continue walking until I make it to the Agreste manner. Although we're almost adults Adrien still decided to live with his dad due to his modeling career. I walk in the gate and use my key that was given to me about a year ago.'

Okay I can do this! Just knock on his door give him his gift, chat a little to change the mood, and then tell him! Okay let's do this!
