There are very few things in this world that Bakugou Katsuki actually finds dangerous. In a world full of villains that list is longer for most people. His list only has three things on it though.

His parents are at the top of that list. He may act like a disrespectful little shit to them a lot, but he knows not to cross certain lines. If he did then he'd be in for a world of hurt.

Second on that list are some villains. Like all heroes, he has his weaknesses. Villains that use water are especially dangerous to him, so he makes sure to have some sidekicks with him at all times that are a natural counter to water types.

Third on his list of dangerous things is feelings. Feelings are especially dangerous. It may sound silly, but feelings get in the way of a lot of things. They make it hard to focus. They cloud your judgement. If Bakugou had it his way all feelings would be erased.

But things aren't his way. They aren't, nad now he has formed those very dangerous feelings for someone that he knows will never have those feelings for him. That was a very fatal mistake, and he knew it.

As long as he's happy, then it should be fine. That's what he thinks to himself whenever he would see his crush smiling.

As long as I'm by his side in some way, it's ok. He tells himself whenever he is called his friend. He ignores the pain to his chest that tells him the opposite. He knows if he doesn't that it will crush him.

That's why it's called a crush. It's called a crush because everything that goes against being called their one and only causes a great deal of emotional pain. Hence why feelings it on that list.

He's tried everything to get rid of this crush, but nothing has worked. So now he just lies to himself constantly. Telling himself that it is alright when it's so obviously not. He can't let one little crush win. He can't let stupid feelings be the end of the great hero DynaMight.

He was doing so good with beating down those feelings. He really was. But then it came.

It came in a little silver envelope. The handwriting on the front was fancy, but clearly written in a stress induced rush. Inside was an invitation with an RSVP attached.

You are invited to the wedding of
Midoriya Izuku
&
Uraraka Ochaco

A wedding. Something that usually brings great joy to everyone involved. Right now though, all Bakugou felt was a firey pain in his chest. It felt like a stake had just been jammed through his heart.

Why did this hurt so much? He should be excited for Midoriya and Uraraka. Both had been his friends for so long. He knew they loved each other so so much. A wedding between them was obvious. Seeing the invite though, it made it even more real.

The invitation falls to the floor, nad Bakugou wasn't far behind. The pain that shoots through his knees as they hit the ground goes ignored. It was nothing compared to the tightness of his chest

For the first time in years, tears blinded him. He couldn't even hope to stop them from coming. The scream that left him when he started crying only served to hurt him more, but at this point he couldn't bring himself to care. Every emotion he had locked away came crashing forward all at once.

For the next few hours he stayed on that floor, trapped in a seemingly endless cycle of tears and pain. At some point he had lost control of even his own quirk without noticing. His clothes, and part of his own skin, was burnt where he had been holding onto himself to keep some semblance of control as he broke apart from the inside out.

He also hadn't heard his phone ringing, or the later knocking at his door. It wasn't until the person had come in without permission, and was kneeling in front of him, that Bakugou even realized that they were there.

He feels a familiar pair of arms wrap around him. Usually he would push them away, shake them off, or just do anything to get away from being touched, but this time he just sunk into the hold. He was too tired from his breakdown to fight against the comforting hold.

Thankfully he knew he wouldn't have to explain anything. The one who was holding him was Kirishima. Midoriya may be his best friend, but after UA Kirishima was definitely his closest. Kirishima knew all about his crush on their former classmate. He was the one that had to explain to Bakugou that that's what was going on.

Kirishima sat with him quietly, allowing Bakugou to let it all out. Each quiet sob was painful. The way he felt Bakugou clutching to him, as if he was the only thing that could possibly hold what was left of him, made Kirishima himself want to cry. Bakugou was the strongest guy he knew, but right now he was just a total mess. All it took was a piece of cardstock to bring him down.

After a while the shaking calmed down. Bakugou's breathing had begun to even out. Not because he stopped crying though. It was because he had completely run out of energy to do so, and fell asleep.

Kirishima picked him up and carefully carried him to his room so he could get some rest. Then he started to clean up the living room. He had already decided he wasn't leaving tonight. Maybe not even tomorrow. He was not leaving his friend alone when he was like this. Not when he was forced to confront his feelings. Because Bakugou was right. Feelings do make you do stupid things. Especially when those feelings are painful.
