Eirisk's tail swished back and forth, dangling over the edge of the collapsed wall he was sitting on, the frayed ends of the shadowy feathers dragging against the rubbled ground. He wasn't growing impatient, per say, but he was growing irritated. He was a patient man, at least on the outside. He had spent three years hosting brutal war and genocide against his own universe before his death some-thousand of years ago, and while he was quick-tempered, he had never been impatient.
He had tagged himself to Endres after first meet. He didn't like the term "attaching" — it signified he'd grown close to the person he was following and manipulating, and while he pretended to gain a relationship with them, he didn't truly care for their health or liveliness. Most of the time, he ensured they met a horribly, lonely fate anyways. Entertainment. But a part of him wondered if it would be different with Endres. The man was sick too. Albinoism was an unfortunate disease and a bad omen — Eirisk had grown up with that fact, and the only reason he'd survived in his home universe was because he had royal blood, and perhaps Endres had survived for the same reason. Perhaps that's why he'd felt slightly more...sympathetic? He didn't show it, though.
"What are we doing here again?" Eirisk finally asked with a sigh of annoyance. "Why is this taking so long? You have to have better things to do, right?"
"I'm watching my son." Endres replied calmly.
"Why? What'd he-" Eirisk paused. He froze, blinking a second as the word 'son' settled into his mind. He slowly turned to the living End leader, his shoulders sinking as his real self slipped through his own corruption for a moment. "Wait...you have a son?"
"Mhm."
He thought a moment, and he couldn't catch himself as the words slipped from his lips. He sat up and kicked his legs over the wall, slipping off and walking over to stand by his living counterpart. "...What was he like, and...what happened?"
Endres didn't respond for a moment. "...He was my world." He admitted softly, yet didn't take his eyes from the spyglass. "I knew he'd make a great Dimensional Leader when I officially stepped down, but...like the rest of my people, the Fallen caught him when it attacked the End. He's...one of them, now."
"Which one is he?"
"The one with the wings."
"He's a dragon?"
"Yes." Endres breathed in as he pulled away from the spyglass.
"He looks like he got a bucket of squid ink dumped over his head." Eirisk chuckled, giving Endres a teasing smile.
