Y/N: "I should be heading the right way if I'm following the directions correctly."
Y/N says to himself as he drives down a dirt path towards his destination.
He is currently following the directions to a village given to him by an officer after disturbing the town folks with him, asking them questions on the last location of his missing brother. Y/N missing brother Dean L/N was a soldier who was honorably discharged after a terrible operation that went wrong and left him one of the only two remaining survivors.
(Flashback)
Y/N: "And you're sure he doesn't look familiar?"
Y/N asks in a desperate town to the towns person.
Townsfolk: "No, I'm sorry."
The person says as they shake their head.
Y/N: "No, it's fine. Sorry to disturb you."
Y/N forces a smile and waves his hand as he walks away. Until someone suddenly calls out to him.
Officer: "Yanqui!"
Y/N knowing that's meant for him since he's not from around here turns around.
Y/N: "Yes, officer?"
Officer: "Got a report of a non-local causing a disturbance to the townsfolk by asking about someone. I assume that's you?
The officer says as he walks up to Y/N
Y/N: "Yea, listen, I'm sorry. I'm just trying to find my brother. His last known location was here."
The officer just nods his head at Y/N statement like he's unbothered by Y/N situation. The officer just sighed before speaking.
Officer: "Listen, I tell what I know, but I want you out of here after. Got it?"
Y/N just nods his head.
Y/N: "Yes, sir. I'll take what I can get."
The officer just sighs again before speaking.
Officer: "A lot of people have been going missing lately. And I'm sure your brother is now just a part of that list. But what we know is that the disappearances always happen close to a village."
Y/N after hearing that, I just wanted to know where this village was.
Y/N: "Can you take me there?"
The officer almost laughed at that comment.
Officer: "Did you not hear what I just said? I'm not going over there, but I can give you the directions."
(End of Flashback)
Y/N: "One hell of an officer they got working down there. Hopefully, the info he gave me isn't as bad as his attitude, but this has to lead to something. Even if it's just a clue. I'll find you Dean no matter what it takes."
Y/N says with determination as he grips the steering wheel harder. Y/N then notices a wooden bridge. Not wanting to take any chances with the bridge collapsing from his Jeep, he decides to just walk the rest of the way. Before that, he takes a flashlight and his gun out the glove box, which is a Taurus Model 99 gifted to him by his father before he heads out the car. Y/N then puts his gun in the back of his pants before walking the rest of the way to the village. While walking in the dark gloomy forest towards the village, he comes across a big shack that looks abandoned. Before looking around and seeing there's nowhere else to go, he decides to walk in and hopes there's a back door in the place so he can continue on towards the village.
Y/N: "Does someone live here?"
Y/N spoke outloud to anyone who might reside in the shack. Not hearing anyone in the place Y/N decides to continue to explore. Y/N walks into what looks like a bedroom and notices a cross looking thing on a bed and decides to pick it up and look at it while reading what's on the back.
