Welcome to the world of Mr. President.
As I share this journey of Luke and Louise with you, I want to take a moment to talk about the kind of stories I believe in telling. In my eight years of writing, my goal has always been to craft romances that are as intellectual as they are emotional.
I want to be very clear: I do not write sadistic or abusive romance. You will not find heroes who break the women they claim to love, nor will you find insults of the highest degree used as a substitute for passion. To me, true romance is found in the electric tension of two equals, two sharp minds who challenge each other without demeaning one another.
In this story, you will meet Luke Rosello, a man forced by tragedy into a life he never wanted, and Louise Jimenez, a woman who carries the weight of an empire with grace and fire. Their story begins not with a cruel word, but with a messy, human accident and a spark of genuine life in a cold palace.
