Woodsboro was the kind of town that pretended to breathe, but never really did. Everything about it felt staged-the quiet streets too clean, the houses too perfect, the people too polite, like
they were all reading from the same script.
It was dull in a way that felt unnatural, like something underneath it was being hidden on purpose. Even the silence stretched too long,
too still, like the town itself was listening.
Aurora noticed it immediately.

Not because it scared her-but because it
didn't.

Where others whispered in fear, where
their voices trembled at the mention of death, Aurora felt nothing. No tightening in her chest, no panic crawling up her spine. Just a quiet, observing calm. Death, to her, wasn't shocking.
It wasn't tragic in the way people made it out
to be. It simply.. was. And maybe that was
her secret.

Because while Woodsboro hid something
beneath its surface- Aurora did too. The difference was... hers didn't wait to be
discovered. It watched. Patiently.

 Patiently
