The morning beam gently carassed Velvet's skin as she laid leisurely on the soft mattress, pulling her off from her slumber of comfort. As the ticking clock counts every second she spends drousing on her nest, her mind subconsciously grows rising anxiety from the mere thought of being heavily scolded by the teacher, especially in FRONT of the class-forcing her to split open those eyelids.

Afraid to trigger the professor's anger, her eyes fluttered in the bright glow, quickly flashed hastily by brutality of the morning.

The ray of sunlight strikes her vision, forcing her head to turn sideways. She lays still, quite bothered from the trouble of having to spend the entire day on boring stuff.

"Ugh..! I'on wanna go to class..." Velvet whines in an exhausted manner. She shifts around in her bed, trying to sleep in.

"Get up." Another's voice echoes in the brightly-lit room, the tone was heavily coated in a firm and cold manner. From the other side of the room, a person stands idly beside their bed, arms crossing with a slight sass embedded into the pose.

"But Reeni! It's SO tiring.." She glances at the dark haired girl, an individual whose bloodline tolerates and tames demons of different rankings fitting to their inner mana. Velvet always admired about Reeni's perseverance through her studies, and how she carries herself as a cool and 'nonchalant' person.

"Alright, I know damn school is important! And my future lies in the work I put in today, but it's just rushing it at this point! You know? The fast pacing, the assignments? Agh!"
Velvet's depleted sigh was audibly heard from a space within that statement, and from that, the headwings that positions itself at the side of her earlobes flapped frantically in response to her growing frustration.

Reeni clicked her tongue in disappointment, a look of understanding appears on her face.

"Sigh..Velvet, this will all end after you get a job. I know this is all stressful but don'cha think it would be satisfactory when your hardwork is finally paid? Now get up." She comes to Velvet's bed, nudging and dragging her to the bare floor.

Thinking about what Reeni said, Velvet huffs in admission that the encouragement made her motivation better..a little bit.

"Wehh.. Fine, if you say so!" She exclaims . Velvet stood up stubbornly and began to fix her appearance for class.

After a while, Velvet already got everything ready. She took 10 minutes or so, but the two roommates are now heading towards class.

To be honest, they were quite early. Velvet slightly got mad at Reeni for panicking her state of mind by yelling such alarming statements like "It's already so late! We're gonna be SO scolded." or similar stuff. Nonetheless, Velvet is grateful and gave heartfelt gratitude to Reeni for encouraging and waiting for her earlier.

I'm more focused on the world building to give y'all the general idea of the world. Basically the setting is those otome games!(?) [NEVER PLAYED ONE BTW] but theres some slight differences or maybe the same eidk. The personalities and the dynamics are gonna be more thought out soon until a specific person will be introduced to the story.

The friendship between Reeni and Velvet is gonna be more fleshed out!! Baii!!
