Ambers pov

It's the first day of stars on ice. Sold out show after sold out show. To say it's a lot of pressure would be an understatement, knowing so many fans are coming to see us perform brings me so much joy but also a tinge of panic. Since the Olympics there has been a lot of pressure, not just on me but on the others too. Alysa got chased outside an airport by a fan, but Also sure we get showed a lot of love online, but we also get shown a lot of hate. Isabeau was dragged, so much cruelty. So little thought in regard to our feelings, all in the sake of a "joke". We have feelings too. So to try and help keep us safe they brought on security to try and keep us as safe as possible.

We arrive at the first rink to meet with our coaches and to get a walk through on security procedures during the meet and greets.  As  we walk into the back office coaches and skaters are greeted by around 20 personal body guards. That's when i see her. Shes standing in the middle with guards lined up on both sides, shes about 5'9 shorter than most of the guards but a very stern look on her face. Everyone take a seat the lady in the middle says. I haven't been able to take my eyes off her. Her stern blue eyes with a softness behind them, long wave hair slicked back into a tight bun, white t-shirt that perfectly shows off her toned upper body and her strong muscles, i catch myself staring a little to long when my coach bumps my arm. Amber you need to focus Damon said while pulling my focus away from just her. I hope she isn't my body guard because i don't think id be able to focus on anything but her.

Y/N POV

Standing in the briefing room with my staff waiting for the skaters to come in. I can hear laughter coming from down the hall. They're here. Your assignments will be walking in soon boys, i say while straightening out my shirt. That's when i see her, blonde and beautiful. Focus i need to focus. Alright everyone sit down, and I'll be assigning you to your body guards i say as everyone takes their seats. Ive brought in my best guards. Not to say the rinks security isn't great but I prefer my crew. I do the deepest background checks to ensure only the best for who im protecting. Every guard is given one coach or one skater. Every guard has an envelope with a picture of their skater/coach inside mine.... I already know. That same beautiful blonde, Amber Glenn. I after taking the time to ensure all the skaters had a good match for a guard it came to her. I read her profile, and thats when i saw her picture. I had already decided i would guard her but the moment i laid eyes on her picture i feared her beauty would be a distraction. And then i saw her in person, even more beautiful if that was even possible.

"Good morning everyone, My name is Y/N and I am the head guard for you all along the tour. If you have any issues or concerns please feel free to reach out, I too will be along guarding this tour so don't hesitate with anything. Guards please introduce yourselves with whom you will be working for." I say as my eyes drift back towards Amber who to my surprise is already watching me intently.

I gather myself and approach to introduce myself to her. Every step I take towards her a slight bit of panic goes through her eyes, which I only find myself feeling a little pride that I'm making her nervous. About 10 feet from her and she breaks eye contacts to look at her coach and bash fully rub her arm as a deep red color rises to her cheeks.

"Hello Amber, My name is Y\N and ill be your personal guard this tour" I say extending my hand to her

Amber's POV

Shes standing in front of me arm extended

"Im sorry what did you say" I ask completely distracted by her and it sees like she knows it. Y\N drops her hand and nervously runs it through her hair

"I said my name is Y\N and ill be your personal body guard" she says

"Oh I'm sorry it's getting loud in here i couldn't hear you. Hi Y\N

I look forward to getting to know you!" I say

Y\N gestures towards the door and I take her lead and go out of the room noticing all of the other guards are following suit. Seeing her in control of the surroundings, her heightened sense of awareness. It's unlike any other I've seen. It's like she knows where we all are even with her back to us. Guiding us towards the rink and where we would hold our meet and greets in a few short hours. The control she shows right now is an ounce of what i want when I lace up and get on the ice. She makes it look easy. I think I'm more focused on her movements then take in the whole rink, everyone else I can hear sound excited followed by fits of giggles, but all that is blocked by her. God shes beautiful. Her composure. The focus. Im jealous. In more ways than I care to admit. Before I know it we were standing at the edge of the rink.

"This is self explanatory. You skate here. You will find your body guard next to the gate waiting for you to enter and exit the ice. Their goal.... Is your protection above all, we swore taking this job to make sure no harm comes to any of you, so with that said if your guard gives you an order i urge you to listen. We will only give direct order to try and keep you safe. You may disagree with the order but it must be followed through. We are putting our lives on the line to ensure you all are going to be safe. And with that being said, I will leave you all to your free time before the meet in greet later. Your guards will be with you from here on out, and once again if you have any concerns please come talk to me." Y\N said before locking eyes with me.

"Have you checked in to your hotel yet?" Y\N asks

"Not yet i was going to head over there after the meeting." I say

"Ive arranged the rooms to correspond with all body guards. Every room has a conjoined door to connect to the skaters and coaches. The door can only be opened from your side to ensure your safety though I can open every door from our side with a security key, Im am telling you this now so you know I will only open it at your request or if I know you're in danger." Y\N says

"So what you're telling me we're going to be side by side the whole tour?" I say feeling my heart steadily increase at the thought of her being so close

"Yes. But strictly for your safety and if you ever feel uncomfortable with me being your body guard I have someone ready to step in." Y\N says

Looking at her eyes i can see a sense of focus but also a lightness behind them

"I think its time we go check in then'' I say
