Charlie Wheeler doesn't do perfect. She doesn't do neat. She does chaos, music, and trouble... and somehow, Steve Harrington drives her absolutely insane.
But in Hawkins, chaos isn't just a personality trait-it's monsters, missing kids, and secrets...

Before we start, here's a quick introduction to the characters you'll be following through this story, along with face claims to help you picture them. This fic follows the events of Stranger Things (Season 1–5) but with Charlie woven into everything—so expect canon chaos, monsters, heartbreak, and a lot of bad decisions.

Face claim: Sophie Tatcher
Charlie is the eldest Wheeler sibling—and the odd one out. Where the Wheeler house thrives on routine and quiet control, Charlie is all sharp edges, loud guitars, and messy defiance. She's the lead singer and guitarist in her band, writing songs she pretends don't mean anything. Known around school but never trying to be, she walks the line between intimidating and magnetic. She's fiercely protective of her siblings (even if she'd rather die than admit it), especially Mike, who's the only one she really understands. She doesn't trust easily, doesn't open up, and definitely doesn't do feelings... which makes everything that happens later significantly worse.
NANCY WHEELER

Face claim: Natalia Dyer
Nancy is everything Charlie isn't—polished, composed, and always trying to do the "right" thing. She cares about appearances, about structure, about control. But underneath that is someone who wants more than Hawkins can offer, even if she doesn't always admit it. Her relationship with Charlie isn't bad—it's just... distant. They're too different to fully understand each other, which makes the cracks between them even more obvious when things start going wrong.
