When Fidget puts himself in danger, Basil and Dawson come to save him. This leads Fidget to get the idea for them to give him the care he needs, curing his bath time boredom. A sequel to Bathtime Troubles.
Then he faced the faucet in front of him, which gave him an idea. "Ah!" It looked like something he could fit through since Olivia couldn't. He turned the pipe hole in his direction and started to climb in it. Unfortunately, he couldn't go through. He began kicking. "Help!"
Two familiar men stepped into the bathroom.
"Oh, my goodness!" Basil yelled, covering his eyes in shock, not used to seeing people without clothes on. "Fidget, it's me, Basil."
Dawson handed him a pair of gloves and Basil put them on.
"It is?" Fidget said shakily, kicking and flinching at the loud sound of Basil putting on gloves.
"Yes, and I'll prove it to you." With that, he patted the struggling bat's back, making Fidget sigh with relief.
"Dawson, get behind me. We're going to pull our peg legged friend out."
Dawson walked behind him and grabbed him by the waist. Basil began to pull as he held onto the bat's waist. "On a count of three...One...two...THREE!" And Fidget was out!

Dawson grabbed a towel and cream for possible injuries. Basil set the bat down in the tub and sat down. Dawson set the towel on Basil's lap and Basil put Fidget over his lap.
"Basil, I'm sorry," Fidget said guiltily.
"It's alright," Basil said soothingly, "You're not in trouble, but the question is, why did you try to go through there?"
"I did that because I miss Olivia and I thought I could fit through since she couldn't," Fidget replied sadly, "Please, don't be mad. I had a hard-enough day."
Basil nodded. "I'm not mad, but try not to do that again, okay?"
Fidget nodded sadly.
"You're safe, now, so just breathe," Basil soothed.
Fidget did as the detective told him to.
"You're doing fine," Dawson said.
"We need to check for injuries."
"May we have a look-see?"
The bat's eyes bulged in shock. "What?!"
Just when he was about to struggle, the detective was quick to pin him down, but not without rubbing his back.
Basil checked Fidget's hips and rear for any injury that occurred when the latter tried to get through the pipe. The former didn't see any scars, but he saw some rust on the latter's swollen backside.
"Hmm...your bottom looks swollen."
Fidget looked behind him to see that his rear had expanded a little and gasped with embarrassment. Oh, no! I have a big butt just like Livy did! Fidget thought.
"I'll cover you," Basil told Fidget.
Having said that, the detective dipped his gloved hand into the water and covered the center of the bat's swollen bottom with one hand, while making sure the rust from each cheek was brushed off with the other.
Dr. Dawson drained the now dirty water before handing of the icepack (which was wrapped in a washcloth) to Basil.
"Try to keep still, Fidget," Basil commanded, "This might sting a little."
Fidget gulped, but nodded in understanding before Basil pressed the icepack against the former's rear. The bat hollered and kicked, feeling the icy cloth against him for it was too much for him to bear. Not to mention, he felt as if his bottom was burning very badly. What made it more tolerable was Basil and Dawson rubbing his back.
When Basil was finished with him, he set him back in the tub filled with clean water.
When Fidget was done with his bath, he called out to Basil and Dawson, "Hey, I'm finished!"
Basil and Dawson turned to each other before Dawson walked over to get a towel for Fidget while Basil went over to get the water to be drained.
The bat stepped out of the tub before the mouse detective set a new towel on his lap before setting the former on his lap.
Dawson passed the cream, which Basil opened and gave the cap to Dawson. Basil, as he covered up Fidget's sitting spot, he put cream on his hips.
After that, Basil escorted him to his room with clean clothes waiting for him on the bed. Since Fidget's hip was hurting from the pipe getting in contact with his skin, Basil helped him put pants on and all Fidget could do was gingerly insert his feet where the holes were.
"I won't be able to sit for a week," the bat complained.
"You will," the mouse detective assured him, "Olivia was able to sit in the doctor's office."
While this was happening, the doctor went into the living room to call the doctor's office. He waited for the receiver on the other end to answer.
"Hello?" the female receiver said on the other end.
"Hello, I would like to make an appointment on behalf of Fidget," Dr. Dawson replied, "He got stuck in the bathtub pipe and the metal could get in contact with his hips."
"Oh, no, that can't be good."
"Is any of your staff available?"
"Yes. You'll find out when you get there."
"Could I get him in sooner before his situation gets worse?" It was bad enough that Fidget was bored and lonely, which prompted Basil and Dawson, himself, to go and rescue him.
"Of course. We can squeeze him in. No problem."
"Thank you."
"See you when you bring him in."
"Goodbye."
The doctor and receptionist hung up on each end.
Basil and a fully dressed Fidget entered the living room.
"Dawson, I called Eve and Kaitlin and they're on their way to pick up Olivia," Basil said.
"And I called the doctor's office, so they'll have no problem squeezing Fidget in," Dawson told him.
...
A half hour had passed and a knock on the door was heard.
"Come in," said Basil.
The door opened, revealing two female mice: one young and the other a bit older and two bats: one around Fidget's age and the other one much younger.
"We'd just picked Olivia up," said Kaitlin.
"Fidget, are you okay?" Eve asked.
In reply, the peglegged bat could only run into his girlfriend's arms.
"Eve! I missed you, Olivia, and Flappy so much!" Fidget cried.
"Kaitlin called my Daddy to see if my family was busy," said Olivia, "And he told her he, Andrew, and Clover were busy with the toy shop, so he had Kaitlin and Eve pick me up." Then seeing Fidget sad, she added, "Oh, I heard you were bored and lonely."
"Yeah, I thought I could fit through the pipes, but I couldn't," Fidget wailed.
"I know, but we're here now and that's okay."
"Oh, buddy," Kaitlin soothed.
Basil cleared his throat. "I hate to ruin the moment, but we need to get him to the hospital soon."
