Bang Chan had never expected his roommate to become the center of his attention. When Seungmin first moved into the dorm, Chan only noticed the obvious things. Seungmin was pretty in a quiet way. Sharp eyes, soft lips, neat hair, and a slim figure that somehow made oversized hoodies look unfairly good. Chan noticed the way Seungmin stretched after practice too, arching his back lazily while complaining about how tired he was. It always made Chan look away a second too late.
Seungmin noticed things too. Chan walked around the dorm in sleeveless shirts without realizing how distracting he looked. His arms were toned from years of training, and his broad shoulders made him seem reliable even when he was half asleep. Seungmin teased him constantly about acting like everyone's dad, but secretly he liked how safe Chan made the room feel. Their closeness happened naturally.
Seungmin sat on Chan's lap whenever there was no space on the couch. Chan barely reacted anymore. Sometimes he rested his chin on Seungmin's shoulder while scrolling through his phone. Sometimes Seungmin leaned back against Chan without thinking.
Everyone else noticed before they did. "Are you two attached at the hip?"
