Clearwater, Robloxia was a rather peaceful and normal town. While having a very small population, it still had it fair share of visitors and tourists. Many of the Robloxian's knew each other since it was that small. To outsiders it seemed peaceful, the kind of town you would want to go to for retirement, save for the active drug use, nothing too severe but safe to say this is why they didn't get another pizza joint after last incident.
Within a small apartment complex, Erin was struggling to wake himself up. Since his high school years, he's had that issue. Late nights writing the next article for a paper no one reads anymore, the internet being much more popular, of course, he had no desire to use it, though despite his knowledge of the internet itself. He felt writing was always more authentic. The sunlight melted through the small gap in his curtains, inconveniently going directly into his eyes. He shut them tighter in response, not wanting to get up yet after tormenting himself with another sleepless night. Eventually, he reluctantly found the will to get up, shoving the covers off himself to be greeted by the chilly air.
He stretched his arms as his feet dangled from the edge of the bed. He IS, in fact, the kind of guy to sleep with socks on. Eventually, he got up out of bed, heading to his bathroom to freshen himself up since he did have a sense of hygiene even if it wasn't particularly consistent. He opened the medicine cabinet, which doubled as his mirror grabbed his toothpaste along with his medication he was prescribed recently they helped with the whispers in his head. He stalled them down with water DIRECTLY from the faucet too lazy to grab a cup, and he didn't have any mouthwash. He brushed his teeth, eyes still practically shut as he did, so after he splashed his face with water, he considered it to be a pretty good facial care routine.
He stared blankly at himself in the mirror. It was still him just with his hair looking like a rat slept in it, in which he promptly combed it and made it all pretty because being a more so self proclaimed journalist presentation was still very important.
He handled the rest of his business in the bathroom with no issues showering, using the toilet, getting dressed, everything. It's more convenient to handle everything in one spot. He went back to his get his shoes, jacket, and sunglasses. While getting his sunglasses in his drawer though he froze up for a moment being greeted by an old photo of himself and his friend all the way from high school, someone who left him too soon after all they promised. He silently flipped it to face down, grabbing his sunglasses and almost slamming the drawer shut. Once he was all ready he grabbed his camera, journal, pencil, and bag to carry all his items, before he left he took a quick drink of Vodka, it made things easier despite his family telling him to quit drinking. He left the apartment. Inside, he smiled to himself, thinking it was going to be a good day. He lived his job, and he was comfortable with where he was at. It was a small town with so much history and tales behind it, and he only just started. It was so exciting.
Somewhere, something lurked in the shadows. Watching him, waiting with no end in sight. No matter where he would go, it would be there making its presence known occasionally. This time, though, it had him where it wanted. All they had to do was guide him. He wasn't ready for what things would be in store for him. He would know things he shouldn't and how blissfully unaware the townsfolk is of what's going on in the dark.
(Yooooooo holy cringe, get bro OUTTA HERE. No dialog yet, shhhhh, we dont need it rn)
