This story starts on Starlight Island with the Citrus Squad and Marshmallow Bunny Cookie. Marshmallow Bunny Cookie uses her Bunny Tunnel to teleport her and the rest of the squad to The Land of Martial Tarts, specifically the Umbral Pact's stronghold. The Citrus Squad managed to escape, but Marsh mallow Bunny Cookie got captured by the Umbral Pact. Marshmallow Bunny Cookie gets mind controlled by Obscure Umbra Cookie and turns evil. The Citrus Squad manages to meet the Spirit Weapons and explains what happened. The Spirit Weapons lend their powers to the Citrus Squad to save Marshmallow Bunny Cookie.
