Prologue.....
Whenever you hear the word „School", you probably roll your eyes... But, not all schools are like this... Like the school I want to write about. Or, rather than about the school like a whole, I would rather write about a girl. Her name, from Greek mythology, was Pheobe. Pheobe studied at this school, she was in her 8th year, she was very smart, most of the teachers liked her, she was nice to everyone. She liked musicals, she liked to help people...

Outside of the school, the teachers decided to make a Christmas market, with the younger students singing, and Pheobe, would be the moderator, with one boy, named Tommy. It was one hour before the whole show started, and they were trying out the microphones: „Tommy, can you hear me?" her voice playful, as she smiled at Tommy. „No, I actually can't hear you." he says with a smirk on his face, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Half an hour before it started, the teachers started to appear outside of the school, some of the teachers were selling the products of the students, some of them were checking if the lights on the stage work. „HEY, is everything alright with the lights?" one of the teachers shouts, „Seems so, yes..." the other teacher replies...

The market started, with the two moderators introducing each other, and the parents getting excited to see their children sing and dance. Some parents were listening and watching the whole performance, some were talking to the teachers and buying all sorts of times, from things you can eat to decorations. The market was mid way through, and Pheobe was supposed to have a solo song from one of the musical. She started to sing, her voice being amazing, the teachers saw the light slowly shaking, and they shouted: „PHEOBE, BE CAREFUL-!" before they could finish, the light fell on her.... There were loud gasps everywhere, parent were covering their childrens face, so they wouldn't see her... They called the ambulance, but it was too late... When they uncovered her body, they noticed, that her face was demolished....All the teachers were staring at the body, one of them, being really close when it happend, said:„ I heard what she sang before it fell... She sang a song from Phantom of the Opera, one of her favourite musicals... It is named Wandering child." as he finishes his sentence, like they can hear a soft voice: „ Angel, oh speak, what endless longings, echo in his whisper..." the voice sounds undead, yet otherworldy, it is beautiful, yet haunting at the same time. For good 5 minutes no one says anything, until one of the teachers, Mrs. Yellow, sees a figure. She liked Pheobe, but this threw her off-guard. She regains her composure, and says quietly:„Pheobe?" the figure doesn't respond right away, instead, it watches her and the other teachers for a bit, before finally replying: „Yes, it's me... I'm sorry...." from that moment, until now, she lurks in the shadows of this school.

Chapter 1
It is 1st September, the day the new school year starts in this school in New York. Several years went by from when the incident happend... Not many teachers remember it, and if they do, the others think that they are insane. And between the students, there is none of them who remembers that incident.

The school year also starts for Charlie. Charlie is a new student, and a blessed one at that. He is pretty tall, smart, he has good grades even though he doesn't study, and he is pretty decent at sports, he likes musicals, and even acts in some of them, like in Hamilton. His eyes? Blue like the Ocean, and deep the same way. His hair? A beautiful dark brown colour. All of the people loved him.

When the first hour started, the principal said his speech, the teacher, Mrs. Yellow, which was his head teacher, first asked him to introduce himself:„What's your name?" Charlie stood up, and said: „Hello everyone, i'm Charlie Smith. Nice to meet you all." The teacher murmurs: „Nice to meet you Charlie." after a long pause, the teacher started to talk again: „Not many people know, and if they know, they won't talk about it... But, twenty years ago, there was an incident here, outside of our school... No one knows how it happend, but when there was a market here, a light from the podium fell on one of the moderators head. She didn't make it. Sometimes, if you pay close attention, she sings songs from musicals, because that's what she liked to do the most-" she was suddenly interrupted by Charlie's classmate:

„How come you know all of this, Mrs.?"

„I was her head teacher that year. She was... Heh, brilliant... She had straight A's, no one had a problem with her. The incident absolutely demolished her face... So, be careful. If you are nice to her, she won't harm you. But, don't be rude to her...." the teacher ended her speech like that, and no one knew what to think about this. After some time, when no one of the classmates says anything, the teacher decides to continue: „If you hear her voice, you'll know it immediatlely... It's a haunting melody, but beautiful at the same time... It has been a long, long time, since I saw her... She was a ginger girl... Heh, with blonde straps, that she never dyed... Always made me wonder how can someone have the hair she had..."

The teacher suddenly stops talking, and she seems to be listening intently to something. Charlie looks around in confusion, but decides to play along and listen too...as they listen closely, they hear a haunting, yet beautiful voice coming from the corner of the room... the voice sounded exactly as she described.
„Oh wow... a new class... yet, no one listens to the voice of the supposed ghost..." the class starts to question their sanity, when the voice rings out from beside Charlie
„How is it, that no one seems to remember that incident?"

Charlie feels a shiver go down his spine, as he feels a light touch of a hand on his shoulder. The voice stops talking, and the room is filled with a tense silence. Charlie is contemplating something, thinking about all of this. And, the class trouble maker, Blake, can't keep his mouth shut: „Oh, that must have been funny, when the light fell-" the lights start to flicker, until they go out completely. No one could explain how, or why... everyone was scared to death.

Charlie shouts:„What were you thinking Blake?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, two big eyes appear in the dark, staring at Blake. They are not staring, they are GLARING at him. Nothing more, nothing less... just glaring... until...
„How dare you make fun of that tragical incident?" the voice sounds much more angry and hostile than before... they could almost hear a pin drop.

The teacher interrupts her: „Pheobe... Please forgive him... For my sake.... please...." They two eyes look at her, but the gaze softens. „Okay, Mrs. Yellow. I'll leave him be... I won't hurt him.... But, i'll make sure he doesn't do it again." The lights flicker back on, not a sight of the eyes, but two things from that moment stay. Blake has a paper, which says: „Be careful about what you say. I won't be this light next time if you try anything...." And Charlie has a rose on his table, with a black ribbon. No one dares to speak. Not even the teacher.

After ten tense minutes, the teacher says: „There are a lot of theories, that... She has divine powers, that she is a vampire... But, no one is sure... No one knows why she is lurking in the shadows, as a Ghost, as a being, and not peacefully enjoying her rest. No one dared to ask her... And, if they did, no one saw them again..." Charlie is looking at the rose on his table, staring at it in shock: „Mrs, did she ever give someone a rose?" „As far as I know, no. Aside from us, teachers, of course..." she looks at him with a questioning look, but not saying her concerns out loud. „That means... That, poor, unfortunate soul must respect me, otherwise she wouldn't give me this rose." he says it with a surprised voice. But inside his mind, he is more thoughtful than surprised....

The day went on like it normally would. Except for when the sun set down...
