CJ should have known it was a bad idea the second Chad said, "This will be epic."
They were standing outside the infamous Clown Motel in the middle of the Nevada desert. The flickering neon clown sign buzzed above them, casting red and blue light across the empty parking lot.
Beside them stood famous YouTuber Chad Wild Clay, holding a camera with his usual fearless grin.
"Alright Spy Ninjas," Chad whispered dramatically to the lens, "tonight we're staying in the creepiest motel in America."
Meena folded her arms. "Remind me why we couldn't film at a normal hotel?"
CJ tried to laugh. It came out shaky. "It's just clowns. How bad can it be?"
The lobby door creaked open on its own.
Inside, hundreds of clown dolls stared from glass cases, shelves, corners — their painted smiles frozen, their glass eyes reflecting the dim light. Some were small. Some were life-sized. All of them looked... wrong.
Chad zoomed in on a porcelain clown with cracked paint. "Guys, comment below if you think this place is haunted."
"Don't encourage it," Meena muttered.
They checked into Room 108. The hallway smelled like dust and something older — something forgotten. A clown painting hung crooked at the end of the corridor. Its eyes seemed almost real.
Inside the room, clown figurines covered every surface: the dresser, the nightstand, even the bathroom sink.
CJ counted under his breath. "One... two... three... why are there so many?"
Chad set up night-vision cameras. "We're doing a 3 a.m. challenge."
"Of course we are," Meena said.
Midnight came quietly.
At 1:17 a.m., the first sound echoed through the room.
A faint giggle.
CJ bolted upright in bed. "You heard that, right?"
Meena nodded slowly.
Chad grabbed the camera. "Okay guys, that was not me."
The giggle came again — closer this time. High-pitched. Childlike.
They turned toward the shelf.
One of the clown dolls was facing the wall earlier.
Now it was facing them.
"That one moved," CJ whispered.
"Don't touch it," Meena warned.
Chad slowly approached the doll. "If something's here, show yourself."
The bathroom light flicked on.
All three of them froze.
The door creaked open inch by inch.
Inside the mirror, they saw their reflection...
Except there were four figures.
Behind CJ stood a tall clown — pale white face, stretched smile far too wide, eyes completely black.
CJ spun around.
Nothing.
But in the mirror—
The clown was still there.
And closer.
The bathroom door slammed shut.
The room temperature dropped instantly. Their breath became visible in the air.
The giggling turned into loud, distorted laughter that echoed through the walls.
One by one, the clown dolls began turning their heads toward them.
Click.
Click.
Click.
Meena grabbed CJ's arm. "We're leaving. Now."
They rushed for the door — but it wouldn't open.
Chad pulled at the handle. "It's stuck!"
Behind them, the tall clown now stood in the center of the room.
Not in the mirror.
In real life.
Its smile stretched wider than humanly possible.
"No filming tricks now," it whispered.
The lights exploded into darkness.
The last thing the camera captured was CJ shouting, Meena screaming, and Chad yelling, "RUN!"
The next morning, hotel staff found Room 108 empty.
The beds were untouched.
The cameras were gone.
Only one thing remained on the dresser—
A single porcelain clown doll.
Holding a camera.
Still recording. 🎥🤡
