Marie Sebastian/YN L/N Prologue

Marie Sebastian loved to help people, when the opportunity came to help someone, she would always apply her medical skills to help the person as best she can, it did not matter to her where they stood in life, she will always help a person as best she can. She knew she had made the right choice in becoming a nurse as that's where she knew she could help a lot of people. Even now that's what she's doing helping a person by cleaning their wound and stitching it up.

"Alright, that should take care of that. If you take care and take it easy the stitches should be fine and in two weeks, you can come on back for them to be removed," Marie says to the person. After seeing the person out and bidding them a farewell. Today has been a slow day, though Marie knew not to mention that out loud, because muttering how quiet it is would bring a surge of people, and as much as Marie liked to make sure people leave safe and sound, even she needs a break from it from time to time. The need to help people had stemmed from an incident in her childhood when she was younger and incident she was told about that involved her mother, she had never been told the full details of what happened, but from what she had been told, it wasn't too hard to put the pieces together as to what happened, and she had decided the best course to help people is to become a nurse.

Marie arrives home and it doesn't take Y/N L/N long at all to greet Marie. He sweeps her into a hug and presses a kiss on her cheek.

"How was it today?" Y/N ask Marie.

"It was good. Thankfully, there were no injuries that were too serious that I had to treat," Marie answers.

"That is good to hear, my day wasn't too bad as well, but dealing with kids sometimes can be annoying sometimes, but hey that's the life of a teacher, teaching very young kids," Y/N says.

"I'm sure they can be quite the handful," Marie comments.

"Yeah, they can be but it's worth it, because when they're amazing, they're amazing kids," Y/N replies.

"And you're an amazing person too Y/N, giving these children a bright future, it's not just me that's amazing like you always say," Marie says.

"I know, but helping people and keeping them from dying is pretty cool, I can see why you wanted to become a nurse," Y/N says.

"Yeah...and keeping family's together, saving people's loved ones, it means a lot to me," Marie says.

"I know, you've mentioned something happened to your mother in the past, and I can see how much it means to you when you successfully help families stay together, and how much it hurts when you can't," Y/N says.

"Yeah...we can't save everyone, that's something you'd have to get used to quick in the medical field, but it doesn't mean it hurts any less," Marie says.

"I can only imagine, I won't even pretend to have an idea of what that's like. I'm sure what I would think doesn't come near to the real feeling," Y/N replies.

"I'm in for an early night today, I gotta go help out Tom at the mobile clinic tomorrow, he's asked for some help, and tomorrow is when I'm able to help him," Marie informs Y/N. The two of them now eating dinner.

"That's nice of you, and I think it's not too far from where I work, maybe when I can I con pop on over and get you guys some coffee and stuff," Y/N replies.

"Yes, that would be very mocha appreciated if you can do that Y/N. Thank you," Marie replies.

Y/N and Marie get ready for bed. The two of them sleep understated beds, but you would be forgiven for mistaking them for a couple with how they act towards each other. People had often mistaken them as a couple, and it leaves them a blushing mess as they deny it. The two two of them do harbour feelings for one another, but the two of them aren't sure how to go about telling each other, they don't want to ruin their friendship in case whatever they feel for each other doesn't last long at all. The two of them for now spare longing glances at each other when the other isn't looking.
